Trump mocks AOC’s “intelligence,” dares her to cognitive duel, and slams Dems as “America’s biggest threat”
President Donald Trump is punching back hard after progressive firebrand Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez called for his impeachment over U.S. military strikes on Iranian nuclear targets. In a defiant series of posts Monday night, Trump challenged AOC to “go ahead and try” removing him from office – and even suggested she take a cognitive exam while she’s at it.
“Stupid AOC is at it again,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “They’ve impeached me twice already – and lost. But these people just don’t learn. Impeach me for defending America? MAKE MY DAY.”
The former president, now firmly back in the Oval Office, authorized precision strikes on suspected Iranian nuclear development hubs late last week. The operation was praised by military hawks and conservative analysts as a bold show of strength, but triggered a furious backlash from the hard-left. Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., accused Trump of acting “unilaterally” and violating the Constitution.
“This disastrous decision to bomb Iran without authorization is a grave violation of the Constitution,” she wrote on X. “It is absolutely and clearly grounds for impeachment.”
But Trump wasn’t having it. He doubled down Tuesday morning, calling the far-left congresswoman “one of the dumbest members of Congress” and ripping into her record at home.
“She should focus on cleaning up the filthy, crime-ridden streets of Queens,” Trump said, referencing her heavily immigrant district in New York. “She doesn’t even live there anymore. Maybe if she spent more time fixing that disgrace, she wouldn’t have time to play constitutional scholar.”
Trump: “Let her take the same cognitive test I passed with flying colors”
In a sharp jab, Trump invited Ocasio-Cortez to take the same cognitive exam he famously passed at Walter Reed during his first term.
“The doctor said I aced it,” he wrote. “Let her take it. Let’s see how she does.”
Trump also called out other progressive Democrats for jumping on the impeachment bandwagon, including Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, who recently called him a “mo-fo” during a profanity-laced livestream, and Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., who suggested Trump was turning the U.S. into one of the “worst countries” in the world.
“Ilhan Omar comes from a failed state drenched in crime and poverty, and she wants to lecture us?” Trump fired back. “These are the people tearing America down from the inside.”
He continued: “We’ve only just recovered from that radical left-wing experiment with Sleepy Joe, Kamala, and the Autopen running the show. What a nightmare.”
AOC eyes 2028 Schumer challenge – Trump mocks both
The president also took a swipe at rumors that Ocasio-Cortez is preparing a primary challenge to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer in 2028.
“She better focus on surviving her own reelection first,” he warned. “She’s sitting on record-low approval ratings in a district overrun with illegal vendors, crime, and red-light trash.”
Trump even mocked Schumer, calling him “Cryin’ Chuck” and “our great Palestinian senator,” and hinting that AOC may take down the Democratic leader herself before getting a shot at him.
Former Dem staffer defends Trump’s Iran move
Adding a twist to the feud, even some Democrats are starting to break ranks. Former Clinton advisor Jamie Metzl appeared on Fox & Friends Tuesday and praised Trump’s Iran strike as “bold leadership in the face of weakness.”
“It’s exactly the kind of decisive action America needs,” Metzl said. “You have to ask yourself – how would Kamala Harris have handled this? Would she even have answered the phone?”
As tensions rise in the Middle East, Trump’s GOP allies are framing the strikes as a vital step to protect U.S. interests – and are daring Democrats to overplay their hand again.
“If AOC wants another impeachment circus, let her try,” said Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH). “The American people are sick of this nonsense. Trump’s doing what Biden wouldn’t.”

trump MAY have done the world a favor, but according to reports, doesn’t look that way. re: aoc, trump wouldn’t stand a chance. i had more intelligence than him when i was 12.
AOC should have been strapped to one of then”Bunker Busters” that was dropped on the nuclear enrichment sites in Iran. That would be a fitting need for her!
