As whispers swirl and conspiracy theories mount over what’s really hiding in the Jeffrey Epstein files, one key voice is stepping forward — and he’s shutting down speculation that President Donald Trump was ever in Epstein’s crosshairs.

A Lawyer for Both Men Speaks Out

David Schoen, a prominent defense attorney who represented both Jeffrey Epstein and President Trump — the former during his final days and the latter during his second impeachment trial — is now putting the rumors to rest.

“I can say authoritatively, unequivocally, and definitively that Epstein had no damaging information about President Trump,” Schoen told this outlet in an exclusive sit-down. “I specifically asked him that question. He looked me in the eye and answered directly: nothing.”

Schoen was hired just nine days before Epstein died in a Manhattan jail cell. The disgraced financier was awaiting trial on federal sex-trafficking charges. But according to Schoen, Epstein was more focused on surviving his legal battle than taking anyone down — and certainly not Trump.

Elon Musk’s Claims Set Fire to the Internet

The timing of Schoen’s statement is no accident. Billionaire Elon Musk recently reignited speculation that President Trump was hiding something in the long-sealed Epstein files. Musk even suggested that the reason the full contents haven’t been released is because Trump is named in them.

“Time to drop the really big bomb,” Musk posted on X (formerly Twitter). “@realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That’s the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!”

That post has since been deleted — but not before setting social media ablaze and fueling suspicions already rampant on the left.

Trump Fires Back — And Cites the Source

President Trump didn’t waste time brushing off the accusations. “That’s called ‘old news,’” he said in a recent interview with NBC. “Even Epstein’s lawyer said I had nothing to do with it. It’s all old news. People have been talking about this for years.”

Trump emphasized that he had cut ties with Epstein well over a decade before his arrest and death. “I was not at all friendly with him,” he stated bluntly.

What’s Really Inside the Epstein Files?

While speculation continues, the truth is that the FBI still holds thousands of pages of documents related to Epstein’s private dealings. The material reportedly includes everything from flight logs and witness interviews to hard drives and Epstein’s infamous contact book — a who’s who of global elites, including Prince Andrew, Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, and more.

Yet Schoen insists there’s no fire behind the smoke — at least where Trump is concerned.

“People want to use Epstein as a political weapon,” Schoen said. “But let’s be clear: in all the conversations I had with him — including during our final meeting at the Metropolitan Correctional Center — he never once mentioned Trump in any negative context.”

Was Epstein Silenced? Lawyer Isn’t Convinced It Was Suicide

One area where Schoen does entertain doubt is Epstein’s death. Officially ruled a suicide by hanging, Epstein’s demise has long been challenged by experts and skeptics alike — and Schoen is one of them.

“Based on my personal experience with Epstein, and what I saw in our meeting, suicide just doesn’t add up,” he said. “But more importantly, I agree with Dr. Michael Baden’s forensic analysis.”

Dr. Baden, a former New York City medical examiner hired by Epstein’s family, publicly stated that injuries to Epstein’s neck were more consistent with homicide than suicide. “The fractures he sustained are extremely unusual in suicidal hangings but very common in cases of strangulation,” Baden said in 2019.

Bottom Line: No Dirt on Trump

Despite the frenzy Musk triggered, Epstein’s lawyer is standing firm. “There’s no mystery here when it comes to Trump,” Schoen reiterated. “Whatever the Epstein files contain — and I don’t have access to all of them — they don’t include anything that implicates the President.”

For now, the mystery of Epstein’s death and the contents of those FBI files remains unsolved. But at least on one front, a man who knew both Epstein and Trump is making his position clear.

“Epstein didn’t have anything on Donald Trump. I asked. He answered. Period.”

  1. I don’t believe that for one minute ! I don’t think he’s clear of anything !

  2. It could be that Epstein’s “secret list” consists mostly of Democrat politicians and Hollywood stars. If Trump released the list, it would immediately be slammed as fake and an attack on the Left. Trump, knowing this would happen, may have chosen not to release it just to avoid the hassle. The real problem is, we can speculate all we want, but until we actually see the documents, we won’t really know why it wasn’t released earlier.
