Prince Andrew is facing shocking new accusations that could drag the disgraced royal back into the spotlight for all the wrong reasons — this time over claims he allegedly lashed out at one of his own dogs during a royal shooting party.
The explosive allegation, revealed in a new royal biography, claims the embattled duke kicked a Labrador in the head after the dog grabbed a sausage roll from a guest’s hand during a pheasant shoot at the Sandringham estate.
The disturbing story comes as Andrew, now officially known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor after losing his royal titles over his ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, continues to live in disgrace and isolation following years of scandal and bullying accusations.
According to royal biographer Andrew Lownie’s new book Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, the alleged incident unfolded during a mid-morning break at a shooting party attended by members of the royal circle.
Guests had reportedly gathered for soup and snacks when Andrew’s Labrador suddenly jumped up and snatched a sausage roll from someone’s hand.
What happened next allegedly stunned everyone around him.
Lownie claims Andrew reacted in fury and kicked the dog in the head hard enough to leave the animal “whimpering on the ground.”
One horrified guest allegedly confronted the duke on the spot.
“That is the most disgusting thing that you have just done to your beautiful dog,” the guest reportedly told Andrew. “You should be ashamed of yourself.”
But instead of apologizing, the royal author claims Andrew exploded back in anger.
“(Expletive) off,” Andrew allegedly snapped. “It is none of your business, and I will do precisely what I want to MY dogs.”
Sources told RadarOnline.com the claims are especially damaging because they tap into long-running concerns about Andrew’s temper and behavior behind palace walls.
“Stories about Andrew losing his temper or treating staff and people around him poorly have circulated for years within royal circles,” one insider claimed. “What makes these allegations especially disturbing is that they involve an animal.”
Another source said the allegations could further cement the public’s view of Andrew as “entitled, volatile, and lacking self-awareness.”
The duke’s reputation has already been shattered by his association with Epstein, which ultimately cost him his royal duties, military honors, and HRH status.
Over the years, multiple reports have accused Andrew of bullying palace staff and creating a toxic atmosphere for aides while working as a senior royal — allegations that have repeatedly haunted him even after stepping away from public life.
The new claims are made even more explosive by allegations that Prince Philip himself privately agreed with the guest who confronted Andrew.
According to Lownie, the late duke allegedly told the guest afterward: “What you said to my son today was absolutely right.”
The book further claims Prince Philip added that both he and Queen Elizabeth believed Andrew “needs a good scolding from time to time.”
Andrew has not publicly responded to the allegations.
The former royal has largely disappeared from public life since Queen Elizabeth II’s death in 2022. He reportedly now spends most of his time away from the spotlight following his removal from Royal Lodge by King Charles.
Andrew was reportedly relocated first to Wood Farm Cottage and later to Marsh Farm on the Sandringham estate after losing access to the lavish $40 million mansion.
Despite his exile from royal duties, Andrew has continued making headlines.
Earlier this year, reports emerged that a masked man allegedly chased and confronted the duke while he was out walking his dogs near his Norfolk home.
A 39-year-old man has since pleaded not guilty to charges linked to the bizarre encounter, and reports suggest Andrew could personally appear in court to give evidence.
Now, with fresh accusations swirling around his treatment of animals, the scandal-plagued prince is once again facing brutal scrutiny from both the public and royal insiders alike.
