Former NFL player Taylor Symmank is mourning an unimaginable loss.

The 33-year-old, who previously spent brief stints with the Minnesota Vikings and the New York Giants, shared a heartbreaking tribute to his late daughter in a joint post with his wife, Nicole Faith.

In the emotional message shared on Instagram this week, Faith revealed she was eight months pregnant when she was admitted to the hospital on January 1. Just three days later, the couple learned their daughter, Sunny, had been stillborn.

“I delivered our daughter into the arms of Jesus,” Faith wrote, describing the devastating moment.

The couple, who married in 2024, were candid about the depth of their grief, admitting the pain is beyond words. “I wish I could soften the words to make them palatable, but I cannot dull this heartache,” they shared.

Still searching for answers, the pair acknowledged they may never fully understand what happened. “We don’t understand why this has happened, medically or spiritually, and we may never,” they wrote, adding that their faith has brought some comfort during the darkest days.

Symmank and Faith said they “yearn” for their daughter and “would do anything to hold her again.”

They ended the post by thanking family, friends, and supporters who stood by them throughout the three-day ordeal, offering prayers, meals, and constant companionship as they navigated the profound loss.
