Sarah Ferguson is reportedly shopping around a bombshell new memoir — and it’s shaping up to be the royal world’s next Spare.
According to insiders, the Duchess-turned-divorcée is eyeing a multi-million-dollar book deal that will lay bare her stormy years with ex-husband Prince Andrew and her turbulent life inside the palace. “She’s not doing this for therapy — she’s doing it for survival,” one insider spilled. “Sarah’s broke, and she knows a tell-all could bring in life-changing cash.”
The 66-year-old former Duchess of York has been cut off from royal perks, stripped of titles, and reportedly told to vacate her $40 million Royal Lodge home by Christmas as fallout continues from Andrew’s ties to Jeffrey Epstein.
“She’s facing financial insecurity for the first time in years,” another source claimed. “A memoir is her best shot at keeping her lifestyle afloat — even if it blows up what’s left of her relationship with Andrew.”
Sources say Ferguson has kept journals and private letters from her marriage and its chaotic aftermath — and she’s ready to use them.
“She knows exactly what the world wants: scandal, heartbreak, betrayal, and secrets from behind palace walls,” a publishing insider said. “If she tells it all, she could land an advance worth up to $14 million.”
And apparently, she’s willing to go there. “Sarah’s told friends she’ll say whatever it takes to secure the deal,” another insider revealed. “Even if it’s devastating for Andrew. Right now, all she cares about is getting paid.”
Ferguson and Andrew — divorced since 1996 but still living together — are both said to be reeling from King Charles’ reported demand that they vacate Royal Lodge by year’s end. The couple’s younger daughter, Princess Eugenie, is rumored to be preparing a room for her mother at her $4.7 million villa in Portugal.
Until then, Fergie has been spotted spending long afternoons at a secret pub tucked away on the estate grounds, while Andrew hides out “playing video games and complaining about his titles,” according to one insider.
“Sarah’s done being the quiet one,” the source added. “If Harry can cash in, why can’t she?”
