Looks like Sarah Ferguson, the once-royal redhead known for her larger-than-life charm, isn’t giving up her lavish ways without a fight.
According to insiders, the 66-year-old former Duchess of York has been quietly “shopping for a new benefactor” — a wealthy man who can help her maintain the high-end lifestyle she’s come to love.
“She’s terrified of going broke,” spilled one friend. “Sarah’s always been a survivor, but she’s never faced life without royal money or Andrew’s safety net before. The thought of downgrading is her worst nightmare.”
After being officially stripped of her remaining titles alongside ex-husband Prince Andrew, Fergie’s financial cushion has vanished. And while she’s telling pals this is her “liberation moment,” sources say panic has set in.
“She jokes about finding her own Richard Gere to whisk her away,” said one source, “but deep down she knows she’s running out of options. She’s reaching out to anyone with a big wallet and a title — or at least a private jet.”
Adding to her money woes is the lingering scandal over her ties to Jeffrey Epstein. Ferguson once called him a “supreme friend” in leaked emails — a statement she’s since tried to explain away as a desperate attempt to avoid legal trouble.
The damage, though, was done. Once a familiar face in royal circles and charity galas, Fergie’s social calendar has thinned dramatically.
“She’s been persona non grata in polite society since those emails came out,” said a former acquaintance. “Now she’s trying to rebrand herself as independent and glamorous — but she still wants all the perks that come with being royal.”
Sources say Ferguson has sworn off broke aristocrats for good. “She’s not chasing love,” said an insider. “She’s chasing stability. Age, looks, or titles don’t matter — only financial security. She’s done playing princess. She wants a provider.”
Privately, Ferguson’s been reaching out to old contacts — wealthy businessmen, society figures, even a few American millionaires she met through charity work.
“She’s in full survival mode,” another friend confessed. “If that means landing a sugar daddy, she’s not ashamed of it. She’s ready to trade tiaras for trust funds.”
One acquaintance summed it up bluntly: “Sarah’s not about to swap her champagne lifestyle for tap water.”
