Andrew Windsor is reportedly in a dark spiral — and palace insiders say the disgraced former duke is teetering on the brink after being officially stripped of his royal titles and booted from his mansion.
The 65-year-old, formerly known as Prince Andrew, has been told to vacate his $40 million Royal Lodge and will now live quietly as “Andrew Mountbatten Windsor” on King Charles’ Sandringham estate.
“People inside the palace are terrified,” one royal source told RadarOnline.com. “He’s been barely speaking, barely eating. He’s humiliated. He says he has nothing left to live for.”
The King’s statement was shockingly blunt: Andrew’s “Style, Titles, and Honours” have been removed, and his Royal Lodge lease is officially revoked.
The statement added that the decision stood “notwithstanding the fact that he continues to deny the allegations against him,” underscoring the royal couple’s “sympathies with victims and survivors of abuse.”
It’s the final nail in the coffin for Andrew’s royal life — a move that some insiders say “broke him completely.”
Andrew’s downfall has long been tied to his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein. Despite years of denial and withdrawal from public life after his disastrous 2019 BBC interview, the scandal still stalks him — and the King reportedly felt he had no choice.
“Charles is protecting the crown,” said one insider. “The public won’t tolerate Andrew living like a prince when his name still drags the monarchy down.”
Andrew will reportedly move into a small cottage or possibly Park House, Princess Diana’s childhood home.
Former BBC royal expert Jennie Bond told RadarOnline: “It’s going to be a lonely existence. He’s never had to cook, shop, or clean for himself. Now he might have to learn — and that isolation could make things worse.”
Another palace aide added: “People are genuinely scared he’ll vanish into total seclusion. No one knows how he’ll cope.”
