Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have stirred up quite the commotion after being given prime seats at Game 4 of the World Series — right in front of Los Angeles legends Magic Johnson and Sandy Koufax.

According to reports, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were spotted front and center at the game, enjoying the best seats in the house while some longtime fans and sports icons were seated behind them. Needless to say, Dodgers fans weren’t exactly thrilled about the “royal treatment.”

One fan fumed on social media, “Prince Harry and his wife sitting IN FRONT of Sandy Koufax? Unreal.” Another added, “Why are they in front of Sandy?” while someone else simply wrote, “They need to leave.”

Others pointed out the irony of Magic Johnson — an NBA Hall of Famer, billionaire, and part-owner of the Dodgers — sitting behind the royal couple. “Magic Johnson is L.A. royalty,” one user commented.

Before the game, MLB shared a clip of Harry, 41, and Meghan, 44, arriving at the stadium in coordinated Dodgers-blue outfits. Both wore matching caps and white shirts layered under blue jackets as they greeted fans on their way to their seats.

When the couple appeared on the big screen inside the packed stadium, reactions were reportedly mixed. While some fans seemed indifferent, others online loved the surprise appearance. “Love seeing global icons reppin’ L.A.!” one person wrote. Another commented, “Dodgers uniting the world one hat at a time.”

They weren’t the only famous faces in attendance either — James Marsden, Austin Butler, Tobey Maguire, and Sydney Sweeney were also spotted in the crowd. Sweeney, who recently caused a stir for her World Series intro video, was seated next to Christy Martin, the boxing legend she portrays in an upcoming biopic.

The royal couple’s baseball outing came just hours after they quietly deleted a social media video that briefly showed their children, Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4, in the background. The short clip featured Harry carving a pumpkin at their Montecito home, but fans quickly noticed a fleeting moment where the kids’ faces were visible.

The video was reportedly filmed after the family’s Halloween outing to a pumpkin patch in Santa Barbara, and though the glimpse was brief, it was enough to get royal watchers talking.

So while Meghan and Harry may have found the best seats in the stadium, it seems their presence — both at the game and online — still has a way of stirring up headlines.
