Family drama in the House of Windsor just got messier. A new Channel 5 documentary, Prince Harry: My Terrible Year, has royal experts buzzing that Harry may have permanently destroyed his relationship with his big brother William — all because he dragged Princess Kate into the feud.
According to commentators in the special, William sees Harry’s public digs at Kate as the ultimate betrayal. “For William, Harry crossed a line that can’t be undone,” one analyst said. “He tore down Catherine for money he didn’t even need. That’s the kind of wound that doesn’t heal.”
Royal biographer Ingrid Seward was even harsher, saying Harry “rubbished Kate for money he didn’t even need — that will not be easily forgiven.” Ouch.
This all stems from Harry’s past claims — like saying Kate made Meghan Markle cry before the wedding and accusing William of physically fighting him after comments about Meghan. Pair that with Netflix projects critics have called “boring” and “a dull indulgence,” and it’s been a rough ride for Harry and Meghan outside the palace gates.
Their $100 million Netflix deal has yet to deliver any real cultural splash. Harry’s recent polo doc tanked in the ratings, and Meghan’s lifestyle series With Love, Meghan pulled in modest numbers at best. Critics are rolling their eyes, while polls in Britain put Harry near the bottom of the royal popularity list.
The takeaway? Every time Harry talks, especially when Kate’s name comes up, the gap between him and William only widens. And according to insiders, William isn’t in a forgiving mood.
So while Harry may be trying to carve out a new life in Hollywood, the family feud he left behind looks more unfixable than ever.

If Kate DID make Harry’s wife cry, and if William DID attack Harry physically, what is wrong in revealing the truth? William is angry at being revealed as the not very nice older brother, that is all. And as I understand it, Meghan and Kate have since made their peace over the “crying” incident. Wm. is a petty and vindictive individual, and I’m glad he’s not my brother.
So sick of this royal bull shit. The monarch is totally outdated and should be abolished. The people have the house of parliament and a prime minister. Let them do their job without any of the royal bull shit. There are millions if not billions of dollars wasted on the monarchy. End it now.
I’m sure outside influences – those outside of William & Kate and Harry & Meghan – have had a lot of affect on the couples, too – both individually and jointly. And I’m sure the chasm between the brothers has been egged on by some. ( ::cough cough:: Camilla … )
