At a recent rally, former President Donald Trump issued a stark warning, declaring America to be a “nation in decline.” Trump promised swift action, including mass deportations on “day one” if he returns to the White House.

Melania Trump made a surprise appearance at her husband’s rally in Madison Square Garden, later joining Fox and Friends on Tuesday to strongly defend Trump.

Addressing recent accusations that he had praised Adolf Hitler, Melania insisted, “He is not Hitler, and his supporters stand behind him because they want to see the country successful. We see what kind of support he has.”

Melania’s comments come after a swirl of media coverage. Last month, reports surfaced that Trump’s former Chief of Staff, John Kelly, alleged Trump had once said Hitler “did some good things.” This remark, Kelly claimed, was part of Trump’s desire for a strong military presence akin to Hitler’s generals.

While Vice President Kamala Harris mentioned these reports, Trump went further, asserting she had called him “Hitler”—an allegation without factual basis. Melania dismissed the criticism as “terrible.”

The former first lady also touched on her support for abortion rights, a position that has surprised some Republicans. She clarified that her husband was well aware of her views, saying, “My husband knew my position, my belief, since the day we met. It was not a big surprise for him. I guess other people, the world, did not know where my stances are.”

With Election Day just around the corner, Melania shared that she and Trump will be voting together in Palm Beach. She expressed hope for a fair election, stating, “I hope the election will be fair, and everything will be selected as we say on Tuesday night.”

Melania, poised for the potential of another term, remarked, “I feel good. We are working hard. My husband, he’s all over the country, traveling.” She spoke confidently about returning to the White House, sharing, “I was in the White House before. When you go in, you know what to expect. You know what kind of people you need…people on your team that have the same vision as me.”

On her husband’s legal battles, Melania was unshaken, saying, “It is part of it, part of the politics… I knew they would go after him. They did.”

Referring to Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, a former friend who released recorded phone conversations, Melania called it “betrayal.” She emphasized her disappointment: “To tape the first lady of the United States on phone calls and release to the public… it is disgrace and should never happen to anybody.”
