Lamar Odom is making headlines again, but this time, the former NBA champion is trading the basketball court for a very different kind of spotlight.
The 46-year-old former Los Angeles Lakers star and ex-husband of Khloé Kardashian has officially joined OnlyFans, the subscription platform widely associated with adult content. And in a move that has raised even more eyebrows, his girlfriend, Los Angeles real estate agent Rachel Bradley, has launched an account of her own.
According to TMZ, Odom is believed to be the first former NBA star to publicly join the platform, marking an unexpected new chapter for the two-time champion whose turbulent personal life has played out in front of millions.
Odom announced his surprising venture Tuesday, October 27, sharing a shirtless photograph of himself relaxing in a swimming pool on Instagram. Alongside a link to his new account, he offered followers a simple invitation: “Let’s chat.”
But it was his OnlyFans biography that really hinted at what could be coming.
“You’ve seen me on the court. You’ve seen me on TV. Now get to know the REAL me,” the former basketball star wrote, promising subscribers a more personal and playful glimpse into his world.
And while Odom isn’t revealing exactly what fans can expect, he’s making it clear that he still has a few tricks up his sleeve.
“People hear OnlyFans and automatically think one thing, but I’m not here to tell you what you will or won’t see,” Odom told TMZ.
“I’ve lived a pretty wild life, and trust me, there are still a few surprises left,” he added.
The mystery only deepened when news emerged that Bradley, who has been romantically linked to Odom since earlier this year, had also joined the platform.
Sources told TMZ the couple could eventually create content together, although no joint projects have been officially announced. For now, the pair are operating separate accounts, leaving curious fans guessing about how far they intend to take their latest venture.
The former Lakers star is offering an introductory subscription price of $3.25 for the first month before the cost increases to $13 monthly, according to Complex. Bradley reportedly has a similar pricing structure.
Despite OnlyFans’ reputation, the platform also allows celebrities and other creators to share exclusive material directly with paying subscribers. Odom has stopped short of promising explicit content, preferring to keep his plans under wraps.
In a separate statement to PEOPLE, Odom suggested subscribers could expect a mixture of exclusive material and unexpected surprises, declaring that “nothing’s off the table.”
It’s the latest unexpected turn in a life that has rarely been far from the headlines.
Odom rose to basketball superstardom during his 14-season NBA career, winning back-to-back championships with the Lakers in 2009 and 2010. But his fame extended well beyond sports after his whirlwind 2009 marriage to Kardashian, which made him a familiar face on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
The couple separated in 2013 and finalized their divorce in 2016, following years of highly publicized personal struggles. Their complicated relationship returned to the spotlight earlier this year with the March release of the Netflix documentary Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom, which revisited his basketball career, marriage and near-fatal 2015 overdose.
More recently, Odom has been working to rebuild his life following another legal setback. He was arrested in Las Vegas in January on suspicion of driving under the influence and entered a no-contest plea in July. Under the agreement, the charge could be reduced to reckless driving if he fulfilled several court-ordered requirements.
In May, the former NBA star celebrated reaching 100 days of sobriety, sharing an emotional message about his determination to keep moving forward.
“There are days I don’t think I could make it,” he wrote on Instagram, crediting his faith, loved ones and personal commitment for helping him persevere.
Now, with a new relationship and an unconventional business venture, Odom appears determined to take control of his next chapter.
Whether his OnlyFans debut becomes a lasting career move or simply another surprising moment in his extraordinary life remains to be seen. But one thing is certain: The former NBA champion has found another way to get people talking.
