Christina Applegate’s ongoing health fight may have taken a serious turn — and fans are growing increasingly concerned.

The Married… With Children and Anchorman star, 54, has reportedly been hospitalized since late March as she continues her devastating battle with multiple sclerosis. While details surrounding her condition remain tightly under wraps, the lack of clarity is only fueling concern about what’s really going on behind the scenes.

According to reports, Applegate was admitted to a medical facility weeks ago, but no official reason for her hospitalization has been confirmed. Her representative has remained guarded, saying only: “I have no comment on whether she is in the hospital or what her medical treatments are,” while noting the actress has dealt with a “long history of complicated medical conditions.”

The troubling update comes just weeks after Applegate made a heartbreaking admission — revealing that her illness has left her largely confined to bed.

Despite the daily struggle, the actress shared that she still pushes herself to experience small but meaningful moments with her daughter, Sadie. “I want to take her [to school]; it’s my favorite thing to do,” she said in a recent interview. “I tell myself, ‘Just get her there safely and get home so you can get back into bed.’”

It’s a stark glimpse into the reality of living with multiple sclerosis — a chronic disease in which the immune system attacks the protective layer around nerves, often leading to symptoms like weakness, mobility issues, and severe fatigue.

Applegate has never sugarcoated her condition, bluntly admitting: “My life isn’t wrapped up with a bow. People’s lives… suck sometimes. So I’m being as honest and raw as I possibly can.”

But behind that raw honesty is a deeply personal struggle that has played out both privately and in the public eye.

In her memoir, You With the Sad Eyes, Applegate opened up about one of her most vulnerable moments — receiving her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2022. It marked her first public appearance after her diagnosis, and she described the experience as “humiliating,” saying she no longer felt like herself.

“I hated how I looked that day, how much this illness had taken from me,” she wrote, revealing how difficult it was to step into the spotlight while battling the physical toll of the disease.

Now, the actress relies on a cane to walk — a visible reminder of just how much her life has changed. She’s also admitted she struggles to look at photos of herself, feeling “sad” and “embarrassed,” and painfully aware of the scrutiny she faces.

“Once people stared at my boobs,” she said candidly. “Now I knew they were staring not only because I was disabled… but because I was fat.”

Still, even as her health battle intensifies, Applegate has made it clear she’s not hiding from her reality — even if it’s messy, painful, and far from Hollywood-perfect.

With her reported hospitalization stretching into weeks and few answers being offered, one question now looms large: just how serious is this latest chapter in Christina Applegate’s fight?
