Candace Owens is catching major heat online after sharing private text messages from the late conservative activist Charlie Kirk — messages he allegedly sent before going on a date with another woman who wasn’t his wife, Erika.

The controversial pundit revealed the exchange during her YouTube show, just days after returning from a brief break following assassination threats she claims came from France’s president, Emmanuel Macron.

In the clip, Owens described herself as Charlie’s “wing woman,” recalling how he’d text her for outfit advice before dates. “He was getting ready to go on a date with a girl he liked,” she said. “He asked me, ‘Do I have to change this shirt?’ and I told him, ‘Yes — and throw it away if you can, Charlie!’”\

She laughed while reading the texts aloud — but the internet was not laughing with her.

Viewers quickly turned on Owens, calling her decision to share the private texts “reprehensible” and “absolutely deranged behavior.”

“Candace Owens sharing private text messages between her and Charlie about him changing his shirt before a date with a woman who isn’t his wife is absolutely deranged,” one user wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Others piled on: “She is so fake it makes me sick,” one post read, while another accused her of showing a “demonic presence” and called her remarks “insane” and “evil.”

Despite the backlash, Owens hasn’t backed off her recent claims about Charlie’s death. She’s now insisting that he was “betrayed by the leadership” of Turning Point USA — the organization he founded.

“I believe Charlie Kirk was betrayed by the leadership of Turning Point USA and some of the very people who eulogized him on stage,” she said on her show, promising to “name names” soon.

She even urged donors to demand refunds, calling the group a “Godforsaken organization.”

Owens’ comments come just after her show returned from a one-week cancellation, which she said was due to a foiled assassination plot involving President Macron. She’s also floated theories that Kirk’s death was part of a “multinationally planned event.”

“I’m surprised the FBI hasn’t called me,” she told viewers, suggesting that government silence proves something sinister.

Candace may have wanted to honor her friend’s memory — but fans are accusing her of crossing a line and exploiting private moments for views. And if the internet’s reaction is any indication, this drama isn’t cooling down anytime soon.
