It was supposed to be a late-night pizza run — but what unfolded inside a Domino’s in Glassboro, New Jersey, looked more like a barroom brawl than a midnight snack.
According to Glassboro Police, chaos erupted around 2:45 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025, when officers rushed to the Domino’s on Delsea Drive after multiple 911 calls reported a violent fight breaking out inside. What began as a loud argument between customers quickly spiraled out of control.
By the time police arrived, chairs were flying, cell phones were rolling, and several patrons were standing on tables, some still in their Halloween costumes. Surveillance video released by the department shows two men — one in a gray jacket, the other in a light-blue sweatshirt — grabbing a red chair and launching it across the restaurant. The chair struck an officer square in the back of the head.
“They didn’t just throw that chair — they meant it,” one officer familiar with the investigation told local reporters. “And they were laughing about it as they ran off.”
“Extremely Hysterical” Suspects on the Run
Police described the pair as “extremely hysterical” as they bolted out of the restaurant and into the early-morning darkness. Officers managed to arrest several people involved in the initial brawl, but the two men who assaulted the officer remain at large.
“This was an intentional act against law enforcement,” Glassboro Police said in a statement. “The suspects appeared to find it hysterical as they fled. We need the community’s help identifying them.”

Halloween Weekend Turns Ugly
Glassboro, home to Rowan University, is no stranger to late-night crowds during Halloween weekend — but locals say this year’s celebrations felt especially rowdy.
“Every year there’s something, but this was next-level,” said resident Jason P., who stopped by the pizza shop minutes after the fight. “People were already filming instead of helping. It was like everyone wanted a viral moment.”
Police confirmed that no serious injuries were reported aside from the officer, who was treated for a head injury and released.
As the video continues to spread online, residents are calling for more late-night patrols in the busy college town. “It’s supposed to be a place to grab a slice after a party,” one commenter wrote on Facebook. “Not a UFC arena.”
The investigation remains ongoing.
