Virginia Giuffre’s former boyfriend says she was “shaking with fear” after allegedly being forced to sleep with Prince Andrew when she was just 17 years old.
Tony Figueroa, now 43, told RadarOnline that Giuffre phoned him from London in March 2001—just hours after the alleged encounter at Ghislaine Maxwell’s townhouse.
“I remember that call clearly. She was terrified,” he said. “Her voice was shaking the whole time. We even talked about the death of Princess Diana because we were scared—this man was literally a prince.”
Giuffre, who tragically died by suicide six months ago at age 41, reportedly told Figueroa she “didn’t want to do it” but felt like she had no choice. “She said, ‘What can I do? He’s a prince. One of the richest, most powerful families in the world.’”
Figueroa now says Andrew should acknowledge the damage he caused. “Those were the times she was most scared,” he added.
The Epstein Connection
Andrew has always denied wrongdoing, but the fallout from his friendship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein cost him his royal titles and duties. Despite publicly claiming to cut ties, leaked emails revealed Andrew stayed in contact—writing things like “We are in this together” and “hope to play some more soon.”
Figueroa wasn’t shocked by Andrew’s disastrous 2019 Newsnight interview, calling it a “car crash.” He says he saw the now-infamous photo of Andrew with Giuffre before—because she developed it herself. “It was just one of many photos from that trip,” he said. “I held it in my hands.”
“Where Is Her Justice?”
While Andrew lost his titles, Figueroa doesn’t think that’s enough. “So he’s not a duke anymore? Wow, that’s it? Where’s her justice?” he asked.
Now living in Atlanta and working in a restaurant, Figueroa says he still struggles with guilt. He once accepted $200 from Epstein for introducing girls—a memory that haunts him. “I have nightmares. I’ve got a son now, just a few years younger than I was then.”
Giuffre’s posthumous memoir, Nobody’s Girl, reveals her harrowing experiences under Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for sex trafficking.
