Newly released surveillance footage shows a bizarre and shocking incident at the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office in New Hampshire. The video, shared Thursday by WMUR, captures a man wearing only a Speedo and a yellow hat allegedly assaulting two 911 dispatchers inside the facility.
The suspect, 50-year-old Corey Nickerson of Goffstown, was recorded trying to enter the secured dispatch center around 3:45 p.m. on August 9. He was arrested and now faces multiple charges, including assault, criminal threatening, and false imprisonment. Nickerson has pleaded not guilty.

“It hasn’t happened in my 24 years here, and hopefully it never happens again,” Sheriff Brian Newcomb told WMUR.
The footage shows Nickerson attacking one dispatcher as she arrived for her shift through a secure door. Another dispatcher rushed to help, and at one point, one employee managed to push him back outside. Nickerson fought back and briefly led officers on a short chase before being taken into custody.
Sheriff Newcomb praised the dispatchers for their bravery. “Typically, they’re helping people over the phone or radio during emergencies. That day, they found themselves in need of assistance,” he said.
Both employees are now recovering from physical and emotional injuries. “They did sustain some serious bodily injury, and certainly there’s emotional damage coming to work every day knowing this is where the act happened,” Newcomb added. “You expect to come to work and be safe, and that wasn’t the case that day. But through their selfless actions, they helped each other, persevered, and were able to get him out the door.”
Nickerson remains in jail as the investigation continues.
