Priscilla Presley Reveals Shocking ‘Secret’ Call from Elvis…While Robert Kardashian was in Her Bed

Priscilla Presley is spilling some juicy secrets from her past—and they involve two famous men, one iconic marriage, and a very awkward phone call in the middle of the night.

In her new memoir Softly, As I Leave You: Life After Elvis, the 80-year-old actress opens up about her relationship with famed attorney Robert Kardashian—and how her ex-husband Elvis Presley nearly blew it all up without even realizing it.

According to Priscilla, she began quietly dating Kardashian in 1975, two years after her divorce from the King of Rock and Roll. But Elvis wasn’t out of her life just yet.

Despite their split, Elvis would still call her out of the blue—including one 2 a.m. call that came while Kardashian was asleep in her bed.

“Elvis would have gone ballistic, maybe literally, if he’d known Robert was in my bedroom,” Priscilla writes. “He always carried a loaded gun—sometimes more than one.”

Thankfully, Elvis never found out—and neither did Kardashian. But the potential for drama was very real.

Although Priscilla says she genuinely liked Robert and called him a “sweet man,” their relationship fizzled after about a year. She says his career as a busy lawyer clashed with her lifestyle, and he was ready to settle down—something she wasn’t prepared for after her very public split from Elvis.

“He was hungry for marriage,” she writes. “But I wasn’t ready.”

Despite the breakup, Priscilla and Robert stayed friendly over the years. He went on to marry Kris Jenner in 1978 and became the father of Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, and Rob Kardashian Jr. He later became a household name himself as part of O.J. Simpson’s legal “dream team” in the 1990s.

Before his death in 2003 from cancer, Priscilla said they had one final heartfelt conversation. “Robert was the kindest of men, and I remember him with great affection,” she shared.

Kim Kardashian even reportedly reached out to Priscilla at the time to express condolences.

Priscilla’s memoir also touches on her daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, who tragically died in 2023 at age 54 from complications related to bariatric surgery. Lisa Marie had endured years of heartbreak, especially after the 2020 suicide of her son, Benjamin Keough.

She is survived by her daughters Riley Keough and twins Harper and Finley.
