Kelly Osbourne says she feels her late father Ozzy’s presence everywhere — and instead of being frightened, it’s bringing her peace.
The 40-year-old TV personality has confided to close friends that she believes Ozzy is watching over her since the legendary rocker’s private funeral at the family’s Welders estate. The intimate service was filled with eerie, almost mystical moments — strange weather shifts, bursts of sunshine, and sudden gusts of wind — leaving many convinced the Black Sabbath icon’s playful spirit hasn’t gone far.
Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo, who performed alongside Ozzy for years, described the bittersweet mood. “It was very sad but also beautiful,” he said, recalling how rain poured heavily before the ceremony but cleared at uncanny intervals.
One especially surreal moment came when Kelly sang a tribute — only for a sudden gust to blow her lyric sheet off the stand. “It was almost like Ozzy was having fun with her,” Trujillo said.
Friends say Kelly wasn’t rattled. “She’s always been fascinated by the spiritual world,” one family insider shared. “She felt it was her dad telling her he’s still close.”
Kelly has reportedly long embraced tarot, psychic energy, and the possibility of spirits lingering nearby. To her, Ozzy’s presence feels protective, not scary. “She believes his spirit is around her, keeping her safe like he always did,” another source revealed.
Even the weather seemed tied to emotions that day. Black Sabbath co-founder Geezer Butler broke down during his tribute as rain fell steadily — only for the clouds to suddenly part when he delivered his full eulogy. “The sun came out,” Trujillo recalled. “It felt magical.”
For Kelly, the service felt like confirmation that her father is still close. “She believes Ozzy was guiding the day, making people laugh, even stirring up the weather,” a friend said. “That’s exactly the kind of thing he would’ve done.”
Guests left with a sense of closure — but Kelly has found something deeper: comfort in the idea her father’s spirit hasn’t left her side.
