A mysterious “orange shape” caught on surveillance video the night Jeffrey Epstein died is reigniting America’s deepest suspicions—and putting the Trump administration’s official story under fire.

On Epstein’s last night alive at Manhattan’s infamous Metropolitan Correctional Center, a shadowy orange figure was captured climbing the stairs toward his cell. Federal investigators have always insisted it was just a guard “carrying linens.” But a blockbuster CBS News investigation says otherwise.

“It’s more likely it’s a person in an orange uniform—a jumpsuit, like an inmate,” former NYPD sergeant and forensic video analyst Conor McCourt declared. CBS says several other experts agree, blasting the government’s story as “not credible.”

The official camera angle shows only a tiny slice of the staircase. But even that grainy footage, airing now across U.S. screens, shows an unmistakable orange blur heading up toward where Epstein was held alone.

Federal investigators have yet to release a second key security camera’s video from that night—one that, according to CBS, could settle the matter for good. But the silence is deafening.

Jim Stafford, another leading forensic expert, told CBS, “It’s simply not true that every step on those stairs would have been recorded. Someone could reach Epstein’s cell unseen. The claim by Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino that ‘no one could reach that cell without being seen’ just doesn’t add up.”

Four more experts backed Stafford’s assessment, contradicting not only federal officials but also key members of the Trump White House.

On August 9, 2019, Epstein, 66, was supposed to be under constant supervision. Yet, as the CBS probe shows, guards failed to check on him every 30 minutes. He had no cellmate. And most disturbingly, one security camera “mysteriously” stopped recording just before midnight—the very minute Epstein is believed to have died.

Pam Bondi, Trump’s Attorney General, dismissed the “missing minute” as a “normal nightly system reset.” But a high-level source revealed to CBS that the real, unedited videos in federal custody do not have a gap. So why does the public footage?

As if that weren’t enough, experts noticed something strange in the so-called “raw” video released by federal officials—a computer mouse cursor, flickering menus, and clear evidence that it was a screen recording, not original footage.

Theories about Epstein’s “suicide” versus murder are now the hottest conspiracy in America—fueled in part by Donald Trump’s complicated ties to the disgraced financier.

Trump’s history with Epstein is well documented. “Trump was Epstein’s closest friend,” Epstein himself boasted on a 2017 recording. The pair partied together in the ‘90s, and Epstein’s 50th birthday was reportedly marked with a letter and doodle from the future president. Trump now denies any such correspondence ever existed.

When President Trump took office, he vowed to “end the Epstein hysteria.” But as new evidence piles up, even his loyal MAGA base is divided. The release of a DOJ/FBI memo in July ruling Epstein’s death a suicide—while denying any secret “Epstein client list”—has only added fuel to the fire.

Attorney General Bondi’s claim earlier this year that an Epstein client list was “on her desk” stands in stark contrast to the latest memo, prompting outrage and suspicion among Trump’s own supporters.

“The American people deserve to see the unedited footage. This isn’t just about Epstein anymore—it’s about the truth,” Mark Epstein, Jeffrey’s brother, said in a statement.

Video analyst Conor McCourt summed up the mood: “Too many details don’t add up. Too much evidence is being hidden.”

As President Trump pushes America to “move on,” public confidence is collapsing. More and more Americans—left, right, and center—are asking: Was Epstein’s death the result of a suicide, a cover-up, or something even darker?

One thing is certain: the mystery of the “orange shape” has put Epstein back at the center of America’s biggest scandal. And this time, the questions aren’t going away.

  1. Didn’t Epstein get murdered while Biden was asleep, I mean in office. Probably had him killed to protect his crooked cronies.
