Meghan Markle’s much-hyped lifestyle and cooking series With Love, Meghan has flopped — hard. According to Netflix’s latest “What We Watched” report, the duchess’s solo project barely registered with viewers, landing at an embarrassing #385 out of all streamed content in the first half of 2025.

Since its March premiere, With Love, Meghan has pulled in just 5.3 million views. That may sound decent — until you remember the Sussexes inked a $100 million deal with Netflix in 2020, promising original content. For a marquee solo series from one of the world’s most polarizing royals, the numbers are dismal.

To put it into perspective: Suits, the legal drama that launched Markle’s acting career before her royal reinvention, scored 9.3 million views for just its first season this year — and that show is over a decade old. Suits ranked #151, while With Love, Meghan couldn’t even crack the top 300.

Even worse? It still outperformed the couple’s other Netflix flops. Their tell-all docuseries Harry & Meghan — once promoted as a groundbreaking exposé — came in at #1764. And Polo, a documentary about Prince Harry’s favorite hobby that was supposed to show his “human” side, bottomed out at #3436.

“Meghan tried to pivot into Martha Stewart territory, but forgot that you need charm and authenticity to connect with an audience,” said a Hollywood entertainment insider. “She’s lost both the royal mystique and the Hollywood sparkle — now she’s just… branding.”

The first season of With Love, Meghan was reportedly filmed back-to-back with a second season, which is still expected to drop sometime this fall. But with such weak initial viewership, some are questioning whether Netflix will bother to promote it at all.

Meanwhile, Netflix’s top performer during the same time period was the British teen drama Adolescence, which drew a staggering 145 million viewers — nearly 30 times Meghan’s numbers.

Critics argue the duchess has been more successful at generating headlines than actual interest. “It’s always the same story,” said royal commentator Emily Andrews. “Big press push, endless PR spin, and then… underwhelming results. Americans are starting to see through the illusion.”

The Netflix deal was one of the Sussexes’ highest-profile post-royal ventures after stepping down from their duties in 2020 and relocating to California. But between Harry’s struggling memoir sales, Meghan’s faltering podcast deal with Spotify, and these viewership stats, the couple’s Hollywood era may be fading faster than expected.

Whether With Love, Meghan can rebound with a second season — or if Netflix pulls the plug quietly — remains to be seen. But one thing is clear: America’s fascination with the royal rebels may be cooling off fast.

  1. And we are expected to believe the Shrew can cook? She’s seen not doing anything HARD like making Lasagne or any of the other hard dishes…just cutting fruit and cheese. ANYONE can do that without having her tell you that…I’ve been cutting fruit and cheese for a few decades now without her telling me how!

Put her on a Celebrity cooking show where she has to cook under pressure….Food Network has a few shows she can go on, if she’s that good…but I HIGHLY doubt she can cook under a timer and all that pressure!
