Jennifer Aniston’s love life is back in the spotlight—but this time, it’s her new boyfriend’s past that’s making headlines.
The Friends star, 56, has reportedly gone public with Jim Curtis, a self-proclaimed “transformational coach” and motivational speaker. But behind the soothing affirmations and spiritual Instagram posts lies a very different version of the man—one that’s now raising eyebrows.
Curtis, 49, once admitted in his book The Stimulati Experience that he used to cycle through girlfriends every few months. “I can’t keep a girlfriend because I get bored,” he confessed, blaming his “high intensity” personality. He even took a jab at his own sister in the same breath, calling her a “pain in the a–.”
And that’s not all. Curtis openly discussed a failed relationship with a woman he called “Lucy Lou,” calling her his “kryptonite.” Despite buying her an engagement ring, the relationship ended in heartbreak—and some questionable behavior. During their breakup, Curtis confessed to Facebook stalking both Lucy and her new boyfriend, an obsession that spiraled into self-loathing and anxiety.
“I wish I had a better relationship with my son,” he also wrote, revealing that his son lives with his mother and is “p—–” at him.
Aniston, however, doesn’t seem fazed. She was seen beaming during a recent getaway with Curtis in Mallorca, where she introduced him to close friends Jason Bateman and Amanda Anka. The couple was also spotted together at the Ventana Big Sur resort last month.
Aniston has been liking Curtis’s Instagram posts for months, including affirmations about healing from heartbreak and avoiding “settling” in relationships.
Whether this romance turns out to be another Hollywood heartbreak or a real transformation story remains to be seen—but Curtis’s own words suggest this isn’t his first emotional rollercoaster.
