Hollywood heartthrob Brad Pitt has become the latest target in a disturbing crime wave sweeping through Los Angeles’ most exclusive neighborhoods. While the actor was walking the red carpet in London for the European premiere of his new racing flick F1, brazen burglars broke into his Los Feliz estate, ransacked the property, and vanished into the night.

According to NBC News, the daring robbery took place around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. Investigators say at least three suspects scaled a fence and smashed a window to gain access to the secluded compound. Once inside, the intruders tore through the home and made off with an unknown haul of valuables. The exact value of the stolen property remains a mystery, but sources say the damage could be significant.

Pitt, 60, was thousands of miles away promoting F1, his high-octane new film with co-star Damson Idris, and had attended the star-studded premiere just days earlier. The timing suggests the heist may have been carefully planned to coincide with his international press tour. A representative for the actor has so far declined to comment.

The Los Feliz break-in is just the latest in a growing trend of targeted celebrity burglaries that have rocked Hollywood’s elite. In February, thieves hit Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s Beverly Hills estate on Valentine’s Day. The following month, Elvis star Austin Butler’s Los Angeles home was broken into, and in May, actor Anthony Anderson’s Encino residence was also burglarized.

Even longtime Hollywood power couple Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn weren’t spared—Hawn recently revealed their home was hit twice in the span of a few months. And last year, Shang-Chi star Simu Liu’s house was broken into while he was away.

Despite LAPD reports showing a slight dip in overall property crimes at the end of 2024, these high-profile home invasions tell a different story—one of celebrities being increasingly hunted by professional thieves with inside knowledge of their schedules.

Back in February, four men suspected to be part of a South African burglary crew were arrested after a months-long investigation. That group is believed to have targeted wealthy homes throughout the L.A. area, though authorities have not yet connected them to the Pitt incident.

Police say they are reviewing security footage and nearby surveillance to identify the suspects in this latest attack. So far, no arrests have been made.

As Pitt gears up for the U.S. release of F1, he now faces a very real off-screen drama: an invasion of privacy and safety that no movie script could prepare him for.

  1. Nothing new about the Democrats’ beloved junkies crime wave in USA… 75 murders daily… 300 O.D. deaths daily… 1,000 beatings, knifings, shootings daily… tens of millions of other daily crimes… Democrats call that ‘normal’… plan to increase those numbers…
