The ongoing royal feud between King Charles and Prince Harry has reached a new level of strain — and Queen Camilla is making it clear she wants no part of the family’s bitter fallout.
Despite growing calls for reconciliation, insiders say Camilla is staying firmly on the sidelines. According to People, the 77-year-old queen “stays out of it,” choosing instead to support King Charles behind the scenes while avoiding direct involvement in the conflict with Harry.
Royal expert Hilary Fordwich told Fox News Digital that Camilla’s quiet presence has become a source of strength for the king as he deals with serious health challenges and the emotional weight of the public rift with his youngest son. “Camilla’s presence reassures King Charles, ensuring he remains composed and confident,” she said.
But while her steady support may be calming for Charles, it hasn’t done anything to mend fences with Harry — especially after the release of Spare, which included harsh criticism of Camilla and explosive claims that she traded personal information to the press to repair her image.
In interviews promoting the book, Harry described his stepmother as “dangerous” and accused her of leaving “bodies in the street” on her path to becoming queen. He also suggested her rehabilitation campaign came at the expense of others — including him.
Royal watchers say those comments were a breaking point for King Charles, who has since distanced himself from his son. “He was enraged,” said royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams, adding that Charles even evicted Harry and Meghan from Frogmore Cottage in the wake of the memoir.
And it’s not just Charles. Prince William reportedly has “shown no interest” in reconnecting with his brother either, according to royal insiders. As one expert put it, “The king and William don’t trust Harry and Meghan with any kind of confidential conversation.”
Camilla, meanwhile, continues to keep a low profile as the tension simmers. “She’s wisely stepping back, allowing the in-fighting to proceed,” said royal commentator Ian Pelham Turner. “She remains above the fray.”
Still, sources close to the queen admit she’s “disappointed and sad” about Harry’s behavior — but not rattled. “She’s a tough cookie,” said British broadcaster Helena Chard. “She doesn’t dwell on negativity. After all, she’s faced far worse public abuse over the years.”
As King Charles continues his cancer treatment, Camilla has doubled down on supporting her husband — not playing mediator. “She is more concerned with supporting her husband through his health challenges and demanding schedule,” said Chard.
Prince Harry, for his part, recently said he still hopes for reconciliation — but admitted in a BBC interview that his father won’t speak to him. While he expressed love for his family and dismissed the idea of Camilla as an “evil stepmother,” he stood by his criticisms.
For now, royal experts agree: the ball is in Harry’s court. But as long as trust is broken and old wounds are reopened in headlines and memoirs, don’t expect Queen Camilla to step in and play peacemaker.

Oh …. NOW she decides to “not get involved”. What a piece of BS. She’s done all these things for years to tear apart the family, get her claws in Charles, become part of the royal family …. has done irreparable damage but NOW she doesn’t want to get involved?? She should have thought of that 40, 50 years ago.
