A mysterious flying object spotted over California has ignited fresh buzz in the UFO community — and this time, it’s not just blurry footage or lights in the sky. A jaw-dropping video recorded near a remote desert cabin on April 27 shows what appears to be a glowing, hexagonal-shaped craft hovering and darting through the night for a full 15 minutes.
The footage, reported to the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC), has enthusiasts buzzing. “It moved without any clear direction — totally erratic, changing speeds,” the anonymous witness wrote. Even more bizarre, the object allegedly shifted from a hexagonal shape into a circle mid-flight.
And it wasn’t just the shape that stood out — the craft reportedly outshined the full moon on a night when the moon wasn’t even visible. “Its lighting was extraordinary,” the witness added. “It was like nothing I’ve ever seen.”
They also emphasized they were completely sober during the experience, anticipating the skepticism that typically follows these kinds of claims.
Not everyone is convinced it’s extraterrestrial. Some pointed fingers at Elon Musk’s SpaceX, noting that a rocket launch had occurred three hours earlier. While that could explain some atmospheric oddities, others aren’t buying it — especially given past events where frozen rocket fuel from launches created eerie spirals that closely resembled this California sighting.
And the timing? Suspiciously close to a U.S. Congressional hearing on UFOs and Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs), where whistleblower Luis Elizondo and other former military officials demanded more government transparency on what they believe is being actively suppressed.
If that’s not enough to raise eyebrows, Army vet and former Customs and Border Protection agent Bob Thompson recently dropped another bombshell. In a recent interview, he revealed that a CBP surveillance plane captured a bizarre object dubbed “The Cigar” along the southern border in 2020. The craft? No wings. No heat trail. No explanation.
“I’ve seen orbs, triangles, cigars,” Thompson admitted. “Nobody wants to talk about it. It’s still taboo.”
But the strangest claim of all? Thompson says there have even been reports of “portals” opening up in the sky — and he’s seen pictures.
As for the California sighting, NUFORC is still investigating, but with government hearings, whistleblower testimony, and chilling footage piling up, many are wondering: is the truth finally starting to crack through? Or are we still being kept in the dark?
