Rock legend Rod Stewart proved age is just a number this week after reportedly partying for five hours straight at an Irish bar in Krakow, Poland—before needing help from three assistants to make it to his car.

The 80-year-old rocker, in town for a stop on his One Last Time tour, was seen at Ronnie Drew’s Irish Bar watching Arsenal fall to PSG. According to The Sun, the bar was packed with British fans when Rod arrived—and he stayed until around 1AM.

In video footage shared by the outlet, Stewart appeared slightly unsteady on his feet as he left the bar, drawing cheers from onlookers who were clearly loving the unexpected celebrity moment. One fan even reportedly shouted, “Where’s Penny?”—a nod to Rod’s wife, Penny Lancaster—as he climbed into a waiting car.

“He might be 80, but he can still party like he’s in his 20s,” one eyewitness told the outlet. “He was stumbling a bit, but everyone in the bar was thrilled to see him.”

Rod has long embraced his wild rockstar reputation and seems in no rush to hang it up. In a recent interview, the “Maggie May” singer said he’s fully aware of his age but plans to live it up for as long as possible. “I’m aware my days are numbered, but I’ve got no fear,” he told The Sun. “I’m going to be enjoying myself for these last few years as much as I can. I say few—probably another 15.”

Although he’s slowed down a bit since his party-heavy days in the ’70s and ’80s, Rod still hits the gym multiple times a week and works with a personal trainer he’s had for over 30 years. He says his teenage sons—Alastair, 19, and Aiden, 14—help keep him young.

The rock legend has also battled prostate and thyroid cancer but claims he doesn’t take any regular medication, aside from the occasional anti-inflammatory for a bad knee. “I’m more aware of my health now,” he admitted. “I’m a bit of a hypochondriac.”

Earlier this week, Rod was spotted in better form backstage with soccer star Jack Grealish, 29, who brought his parents to meet the singer after one of his shows. Grealish shared a video of himself singing along to Rod’s hit I Don’t Want to Talk About It and posted a photo with the caption: “An incredible weekend seeing the legend live. What a lovely guy.”

Rod’s tour will wrap up in Portugal next Tuesday, but he’ll be back on stage soon—headlining the iconic Legend Slot at Glastonbury next month.
