Prince Harry’s bitter feud with the Royal Family is hitting new lows — and there’s no end in sight.
Despite traveling to London last week to beg for the return of taxpayer-funded security, the Duke of Sussex was stonewalled by his own father, King Charles III, who refused to take his calls or offer support.
Sources close to the Palace now say the father-son relationship is “nonexistent.”
“There’s no reconciliation,” one insider told the press. “Nothing has changed — and it probably never will.”
Harry, 40, is still locked in a courtroom battle with the British government, demanding police protection for himself, Meghan Markle, and their children. The couple lost their publicly funded security when they stepped back from royal duties in 2020 and moved to California. And according to people familiar with the case, the Duke is still furious about it.
“This is personal for Harry. He feels betrayed by the system — and by his own family,” one royal source said.
But don’t expect sympathy from King Charles. The cancer-stricken monarch has reportedly cut off all direct communication with his youngest son. In fact, when Charles was hospitalized on March 27, Harry found out through the media. Palace aides allegedly chose not to inform him directly to avoid “adding to the drama.”
“There’s a complete lack of trust,” said royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith. “Charles knows anything he says — even something innocent — could be dragged into court.”
Behind the scenes, insiders say the King fears that any direct contact could become legal ammunition. With Harry’s lawsuits piling up — not only against the UK government but also against British tabloids — the monarch’s advisors are keeping him at arm’s length.
“It’s a legal minefield,” said a former royal aide. “Charles can’t risk it.”
The security fight is just one chapter in a long, messy fallout. Since leaving the UK, Harry and Meghan have launched a media blitz against the monarchy. Their 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey accused unnamed royals of racism. Their Netflix series “Harry & Meghan” aired dirty laundry from behind Palace walls. Then came Spare, Harry’s explosive memoir, which called out his brother William and described physical altercations and emotional abandonment.
And yet, despite the family chaos, Harry insists on returning to Britain to fight for protections he willingly walked away from.
Critics aren’t buying it.
“Harry wants to play both sides — celebrity victim in California, but royal privilege in London,” said British commentator Douglas Murray. “It doesn’t work that way.”
Meanwhile, Charles just celebrated his 20th wedding anniversary with Queen Camilla and is continuing his official duties amid ongoing cancer treatments — without acknowledging his son’s presence in the country.
To make matters worse, not a single royal has stood beside Harry in court. No visits. No statements. Nothing.
“He’s completely isolated,” said one insider. “And that’s exactly how the Palace wants it.”
With the monarchy focused on stability and public image, insiders say Harry’s crusade is a nuisance — and a threat.
“Every time he comes back, he kicks up a storm,” said a former royal staffer. “The question is: What is he really fighting for? Security — or relevance?”
As Harry departs London once again without progress, it’s clear the damage is done. And if sources are right, this royal rift isn’t just deep — it may be permanent.

Harry chose to leave the Royals. You can’t have it both ways. I’m surprised Meghan hasn’t kicked him to the curb! And when the time comes, she won’t want to be saddled with two kids! She only wanted the “status” of being married to a prince. As long as she is in control… but Harry is losing his royal status. The king should strip them off all their titles and any privileges they presently carry. She is definitely no Duchess!!!
He should think about what his mother would say. Diana wouldn’t have allowed him to marry the shrew/has-been actress, because she knew firsthand what would happen. Harry can’t have it both ways and once he realizes and understands that, it will be FAR TOO LATE for him. The Government and the Crown needs to strip him of everything and let him have that “privacy” he and the shrew wanted. When and if that does happen, she will drop him like a very hot potato and move on to another victim..I mean husband who has tons of $$$$$.

Its not right that he can’t talk to his Father. They should let him just talk to his Father, but not about anything Royal related.
