California is in crisis. Actor and musician Frank Stallone warns that the Golden State has become a lawless, grim landscape. Once a beacon of opportunity, it now mirrors a dystopian nightmare.

A Lost Dream

Stallone recalls arriving in California back in ’79. “It was pure California Dreamin’,” he says. Today, that dream is lost. “I drive downtown and see filth, graffiti, and homeless camps. It feels like a scene straight out of a dystopian film,” he adds. “I batten down my windows every time I pass by. It’s that scary.”

Leadership Under Fire

Stallone points his finger at California’s top officials. He criticizes Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass for poor leadership. “Newsom comes off as a phony. His words are empty. He’s a terrible speaker,” Stallone declares.
He also lambasts Mayor Bass for her decision to leave the city amid raging wildfires. “How can you be in Ghana when your city is burning?” he asks. The mayor’s missing text messages only fuel the outrage.

Policies That Encourage Crime

California’s soft-on-crime approach is under scrutiny. Stallone is outraged by laws that treat serious theft as a minor misdemeanor. “You can steal $900 and walk away scot-free,” he says. This policy, known as Proposition 47, has led to rampant property crimes. “When I was a kid, stealing a candy bar meant a real consequence. Not now,” Stallone notes.

A Call for a New Vision

Stallone isn’t just complaining—he’s calling for change. He urges a return to tough law enforcement and accountability. “We need leaders who stand for law and order,” he insists.
He even champions Los Angeles real estate mogul Rick Caruso as a potential governor. “Caruso is a builder and a visionary. He’d bring common sense back to the state,” Stallone asserts.

The Stakes Are High

California’s beauty—its mountains, its beaches, its sunshine—is being overshadowed by chaos and mismanagement. Stallone warns that the state is setting a dangerous precedent. “This isn’t the California I knew,” he concludes. “If we don’t get our act together, we’re headed for disaster, especially with the Olympics on the horizon in 2028.”

The message is clear: tough policies and strong leadership are needed to restore California’s former glory.

  1. As a second generation Californian I was forced to to leave my native state, which I loved, because of radical Leftist politics, Socialist government doctrines, becoming a welfare state, rising taxes, more and more insured regulations and increasing lawlessness. A society that condemns the laws, condemns law enforcement and supports and enriches criminals is no longer worthy of living in! Being forced to pay for ridiculous programs while decent contributing residents are made to suffer under the tyranny of incompetent “so—called leadership” is a pathetic joke. I’m glad to have gotten out!
