Newly unearthed secret recordings have shed shocking light on the turbulent marriage of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., President Trump’s nominee for Secretary of Health and Human Services. In tapes recorded without her knowledge, Kennedy blamed his late wife, Mary Richardson Kennedy, for his years of infidelity—accusing her of driving him into the arms of other women.

Kennedy’s Explosive Admissions

The recordings, obtained by Mother Jones, capture heated exchanges between the couple during their bitter divorce in 2011. When confronted about his affairs, Kennedy was direct:

“I want to be in a monogamous relationship. I don’t want to be in a polygamous relationship,” he told Richardson in one tape.

“But then why have you done it for 10 years?” she shot back, referencing a personal diary listing at least 37 women he had cheated with.

“I did it because I was being abused at home,” Kennedy responded.

These shocking revelations are just a fraction of the more than 60 recorded conversations. At least one of these tapes was reportedly made in California, a state that requires both parties to consent to recordings, raising potential legal concerns.

A Marriage in Chaos

According to Mother Jones, Kennedy used the tapes to build a 60-page affidavit against Richardson, painting her as an unstable alcoholic who engaged in violent outbursts and threatened suicide in front of their children. Richardson, in turn, prepared a detailed rebuttal but died by suicide in 2012 before it was filed in court.

In her draft, Richardson admitted she had once hit Kennedy in anger but denied most of his claims, instead accusing him of gaslighting her, abusing prescription medication, and being an unfit father. She also labeled him a “sexual deviant” and a serial liar who manipulated those around him.

“I have witnessed Bobby’s obsessive-compulsive need to not only beat but annihilate someone he perceives as an adversary,” she wrote. “He re-jiggers the facts, or makes them up, and rushes to tell as many people as he can so that is the version of reality that gets distributed in people’s minds—classic gaslighting.”

Kennedy’s Infamous ‘Sex Diary’

Scandal has long followed Kennedy. In 2013, his 2001 “sex diary” surfaced, detailing his struggles with “lust demons.” The nearly 400-page notebook listed his encounters with dozens of women, rating their performances on a scale of 1 to 10. He even documented a day where he recorded a “triple play”—three separate encounters, ranking them as 10, 3, and 2.

Despite evidence, Kennedy initially denied the diary’s existence. However, the New York Post published photos of it, solidifying the sordid details of his past.

A Family Divided

Kennedy has long been a controversial figure within his famous family, and recent developments have only widened the rift. Caroline Kennedy, daughter of President John F. Kennedy, has publicly condemned her cousin, calling him “perverse” and a “predator.” In a scathing letter to the Senate, she urged lawmakers to reject his nomination, citing his history of dishonesty and reckless behavior.

“He has misrepresented, lied, and cheated his way through life,” Caroline Kennedy wrote. “His personal conduct disqualifies him from holding any position of public trust.”

A Fight for Confirmation

Kennedy’s Senate confirmation hearings are set to begin Wednesday, and these bombshell revelations are expected to dominate the proceedings. With bipartisan skepticism mounting, the fate of Trump’s controversial nominee hangs in the balance.

  1. Oh Please…..Wealthy and handsome Kennedy’s do not have any idea of been in a monogamous relationship anymore than I am likely to be compliant to any authority….Their lower little heads are the principal guides to their behaviors….
BUT also blame women, they are participants and not victims.

  2. Sounds like an deviant heritage gene from the Patriarch, Joseph Kennedy and it was passed down the line. But, Congress should not be able to hold judgement on this, because just how many of these devious souls can pass the Judgement Day by a Higher Judge when they try to enter the Pearly Gates of Heaven?? My thoughts are Very Few make it to the Pearly Gates of Heaven.

  3. Sounds like a Kennedy to me.. But still saying that should not effect his nomination..if so then no one in Washington D.C. would have a job.
