Singer Shot in the Chest in Horrific Attack After Concert

Despite the horror, King remains hopeful for Thomas’s recovery. “She’s strong. She’s resilient. She will sing and soar again,” he declared.

Williams was detained in the theater lobby, handcuffed by deputies. As of now, investigators have been unable to speak with Thomas about the harrowing incident.

Thomas’s cousin, Alexandria Simmons, took to Facebook to express her heartbreak. “My baby, my heart, my womb mate… My cousin didn’t deserve this. Thank you to everyone reaching out. PLEASE KEEP PRAYING for my cousin and our family,” she wrote. “Jada is a fighter; she will have an outrageous testimony… JUSTICE WILL BE MF SERVED!!!”

Williams is facing a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Her bond is set at a staggering $200,000, but no court date has been scheduled yet. Investigators are still piecing together the relationship between Thomas and Williams.
