Mel Gibson isn’t just bringing star power to London Film and Comic Con—he’s bringing a hefty price tag too.

The Braveheart and Lethal Weapon icon, 69, is charging fans up to £425 for a premium meet-and-greet package that includes an autograph, a photo, and a gift. If you’re just after a signature, it’ll still set you back £195.

The steep cost has raised eyebrows, but organizers are touting Gibson’s long Hollywood résumé: from his iconic roles as Martin Riggs, William Wallace, and Mad Max, to appearances in Conspiracy Theory, We Were Soldiers, What Women Want, and even voice roles in Chicken Run and Pocahontas.

“From post-apocalyptic road warrior to revolutionary war hero, Mel Gibson has done it all—and now he’s doing London Film and Comic Con!” reads the official promo.

Gibson’s fee is one of the highest at the event, making him the weekend’s priciest celebrity. In contrast, his Lethal Weapon co-star Danny Glover is charging a more modest £55 for an autograph—or £270 if you want a joint pic with both stars.

Other celebs attending the event include Jaws legend Richard Dreyfuss, who is charging £80 for an autograph, and Harry Potter actor David Bradley (Argus Filch), who will sign for £40.

Gibson recently made headlines for revealing on Joe Rogan’s podcast that his Los Angeles home burned down—while also slamming California Governor Gavin Newsom in the same breath.

Fans hoping to catch a glimpse of the Hollywood heavyweight better be ready to splash some serious cash.

  1. I guess he wants his fans to build him a new house! Our money made them stars and now they think we should pay for their autos? I don’t think so!
