Paris Jackson’s Los Angeles home became the center of a police response after a security guard called 911 to report an alleged stalker outside the property.
The singer, model and daughter of Michael Jackson was reportedly at her $3.3 million Los Angeles mansion when officers arrived on June 30 and detained an unidentified man outside the home. According to RadarOnline.com, police handcuffed the man during the incident, but he was later released after investigators determined no crime had been committed.
LAPD public information officer Charles Miller told the outlet that the caller reported the man was allegedly stalking someone he knew.
“The person called and said the suspect was stalking somebody he knew,” Miller said, though he declined to identify the man involved.
After officers investigated the situation, the matter did not lead to an arrest.
“The investigation determined that there was no crime, and nobody was arrested,” Miller added.
Photos obtained by RadarOnline.com reportedly showed Paris wearing a plaid button-down shirt, shorts and a backward baseball cap as she got into her SUV and drove away from the property following the police activity.
It is not yet clear whether the man had any connection to Paris or why he was outside her home.
The scare comes as Paris, 28, continues to be pulled into a bitter legal fight involving her late father’s massive estate. Michael Jackson died in 2009 at age 50 from an overdose of propofol, leaving behind one of the most valuable celebrity estates in history.
Paris has recently been fighting in court over the handling of the estate, which is tied to a family trust created for her, her brothers Prince Jackson, 29, and Bigi Jackson, 24, as well as their grandmother, Katherine Jackson, 96.
The latest legal clash involves estate executor John Branca, 75. Paris recently scored a court victory that forced $625,000 in disputed bonus payments back into Michael Jackson’s estate. She has also accused Branca in court papers of using estate funds to try to seal records from a previous hearing, claiming the effort was more about protecting his reputation than helping the estate.
In her court filing, Paris sharply criticized Branca’s handling of the estate.
“Mr. Branca has attempted to hide behind his lawyers, denying any responsibility for his untimely disclosures and administrative failures, much less his gift giving, self-dealing and incompetent financial management,” Paris stated in court documents.
She also accused him of “further waste” by directing attorneys to file what she described as excessive sealing motions.
Branca has denied the accusations. His legal team argued in court filings that Paris’ claims were unsupported, filled with “inflammatory rhetoric” and misrepresented the record.
Branca’s side has maintained that Michael Jackson’s estate, which was once burdened by debt, has since generated more than $3 billion in revenue since the pop icon’s death.
Still, Paris is reportedly determined to keep pressing forward. Sources told RadarOnline.com she is focused on protecting the trust her father left behind for his children and their grandmother.
For now, the police scare at her home did not result in criminal charges, but it adds another unsettling chapter to what has already been a tense period in Paris Jackson’s personal and legal life.
