Terrifying Video Captures Fight Before Christmas Day Shooting Kills Teen (Video)

A disturbing video circulating online captures the chaotic moments before a deadly Christmas Day shooting in Southern California that left a 16-year-old boy dead and four others wounded — including footage showing guns being flashed during a daytime street brawl as a woman holding a toddler looks on in terror.

The footage, which has racked up more than 1.8 million views since being posted to X on Dec. 29, shows a group of young men and women yelling, shoving, and punching one another during a wild fight on a street in Lancaster.

In the video, at least three teenage-looking boys appear to brandish handguns. One of them is seen pointing a weapon toward the group as tensions escalate.

“You gonna put a gun on me, you’re a bitch,” a woman can be heard shouting before punching one of the teens in the face. Another voice urgently warns, “Don’t do it, the police just left.”

Moments later, a second clip begins. The camera suddenly tilts toward the sky as eight gunshots ring out, followed by screams. The recording then abruptly cuts off. In another frame, a young man wearing a black hoodie and gray sweatpants is seen running while holding what appears to be a handgun.

Just before the shooting, a woman is heard saying, “I’ve got all this on camera,” as a teen flashes what appear to be gang signs.

Authorities later identified the fatally wounded victim as Zoen Flowers, 16. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Zoen was pronounced dead at the scene by firefighters following the shooting, which occurred around 1:10 p.m. on Christmas Day.

In addition to Zoen’s death, a 17-year-old girl, a 15-year-old boy, and two men ages 19 and 29 were transported to a hospital and treated for gunshot wounds, law enforcement said. All of the suspects involved in the shooting remain at large.

The sheriff’s department has not released a description of the suspects and did not immediately respond to requests for an update.

Zoen’s family has been left devastated by the loss. His aunts told KNBC that he always tried his best and that his mother is inconsolable.

“His mother is never going to stop crying for him,” one aunt said.
