Prince William just gave one lucky Windsor pub the ultimate Christmas gift — a royal-sized business boom!
The future king, 43, quietly popped into The Two Brewers back in February for a pint with Schitt’s Creek star Eugene Levy while filming Apple TV’s The Reluctant Traveler. At the time, almost nobody noticed. But once the episode aired this fall, locals say the once-sleepy spot has been flooded with curious fans eager to sit where the Prince of Wales sipped his beer.
“It’s been really good for business — really good for business,” pub owner Stuart O’Brien told reporters, adding that visitors now request the very booth where William and Levy shared their drinks. Staff have even given it a cheeky name: The Future King’s Corner.
The Two Brewers sits just steps away from Windsor Castle, and its sudden surge of fame is being dubbed a “mini Kate effect,” echoing the way Princess Kate’s appearances often send local businesses soaring.
O’Brien says he’s embraced the attention — even hanging a framed photo of William and Levy above the famous table, complete with a little plaque marking the royal visit. The Prince, ever the gentleman, even posed for a quick picture with the owner — though he reportedly joked that the photo should be hung “right in the middle” of the pub’s historic blackboard.
Fans who’ve since stopped by say the buzz has transformed the pub into a must-see royal pit stop — the kind of place where you might not just order a pint, but a piece of royal history.
And for O’Brien, one thing stands out about that day: “He’s so down-to-earth — so normal,” he said of William. “At the end of the day, they’re just family people too. It’s brilliant.”
