Tara Reid says a fun night in Chicago turned into a real-life horror movie — after she believes someone spiked her drink at a hotel bar, leaving her incoherent and hospitalized.

The 49-year-old American Pie star was in town for Comic Con when things took a frightening turn. Shocking video obtained by TMZ shows Reid slurring her words, barely able to stand, before collapsing into a wheelchair and later being carried out on a stretcher as stunned guests looked on.

Witnesses say she appeared “confused and scared,” clutching at a bystander for support before paramedics rushed her away.

According to a source close to the actress, Reid had stepped away from the bar to smoke a cigarette — but when she returned, her glass of wine was mysteriously covered with a napkin. “She didn’t put it there,” the source said. “She took two sips… and the next thing she remembers is waking up in a hospital bed.”

Her agent reportedly flew to Chicago to bring her home to Los Angeles as she recovered from the frightening ordeal.

“She’s completely traumatized,” the insider said. “She keeps warning people — never leave your drink alone, not even for a minute.”

A rep confirmed to Fox News Digital that Reid is preparing to file a police report. “Tara Reid is in the process of filing a police report after an incident in which she believes her drink was tampered with,” the statement read. “She’s recovering and asks for privacy during this traumatic time. Tara wants everyone to be careful — this can happen to anyone.”

Police in Chicago told People that, as of Monday, no report had been filed yet.

Reid — long known for her breakout role in American Pie and later Sharknado — has faced intense media scrutiny for years. In a 2023 interview, she revealed how relentless bullying and cruel “party girl” labels drove her to step back from Hollywood.

“I’ve been bullied a lot,” she said. “People forget I’m human. I wanted to show them I’m strong and I have a heart.”
