Bill Clinton’s latest public appearance has Americans asking one question: what happened to his face?

The former president showed up at the New York City Marathon finish line on Sunday with a large white bandage plastered across the tip of his nose — and plenty of questions he didn’t care to answer.

The 79-year-old Democrat, once the picture of charisma, looked pale and frail as he hugged his daughter Chelsea, 45, after her run. Onlookers were quick to notice the patch and whispered among themselves as Clinton smiled for photos beside wife Hillary.

“It looked fresh,” one spectator told The Post. “Like he’d had something done or taken a bad fall. People were definitely staring.”

Frail, Bandaged, and Guarded

Witnesses said Clinton appeared “unsteady” and “tired,” with NYPD officers and Secret Service agents surrounding him closely as he left the area in a black van. Neither Bill nor Hillary responded to shouted questions about his health.

The mysterious injury comes months after Clinton was photographed with a portable defibrillator bag in the Hamptons — a sight that immediately reignited concerns about his long struggle with heart disease.

“Let’s be honest, Bill’s been battling health problems for years,” said one political insider. “Every time he steps out, something looks off. The bandage didn’t help.”

Health Scares Mount for the Former President

Clinton’s medical history reads like a novel.
In 2004, he underwent quadruple bypass surgery to fix blocked arteries. A year later, doctors operated on his collapsed lung. By 2010, he was back in the hospital getting two stents inserted. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he was hospitalized again with an infection.

Last year, Clinton reportedly spent several nights in a California hospital due to a fever and dehydration — a scare that left him looking visibly thinner.

Sources close to the family have admitted he’s “not as active as he used to be,” and “tends to stay home in Chappaqua,” rarely making appearances outside family events.

Once the Face of the Democrats — Now a Shadow of His Former Self

After decades of dominating politics, the Arkansas-born politician has kept mostly silent since President Trump’s return to the White House in January. Clinton had campaigned for Kamala Harris during the 2024 election cycle but disappeared from the spotlight after her loss.

“He doesn’t have the influence he used to,” a Democratic strategist told RadarOnline.com. “The party has moved on. Even Hillary’s keeping quiet.”

Despite that, Clinton occasionally resurfaces to weigh in on international issues — including the fragile Israel-Hamas ceasefire — and to offer endorsements to far-left candidates such as New York’s Democratic Socialist Zohran Mamdani, a move that raised eyebrows among moderates.

A Family United — or Just a Photo Op?

At Sunday’s marathon, Clinton was all smiles beside Hillary, who clapped as Chelsea embraced her father. But critics online were quick to label the appearance “staged,” suggesting the family outing was designed to soften the Clintons’ fading public image.

“Every time something’s brewing behind the scenes, Bill suddenly pops up in New York with a smile,” one X (formerly Twitter) user wrote. “Bandage or not, it’s pure optics.”

Public Speculation Grows

By Sunday afternoon, photos of Clinton’s bandaged face had gone viral across social media, with users speculating everything from a minor fall to possible skin cancer treatment. The Clinton Foundation has made no comment, and none of the family’s representatives have issued a statement.

For now, the former president’s latest mystery only adds to a long list of unanswered questions surrounding his health, legacy, and fading influence.

As one commenter put it bluntly under a viral photo: “Bill Clinton looks like he’s running out of time — not marathons.”
