It looks like Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson aren’t done making waves inside the palace. The once-married duo — still living together more than 25 years after their divorce — are reportedly using their royal secrets as leverage to score lifelong housing deals from King Charles.
According to sources, the exes have agreed to vacate their lavish 30-room Royal Lodge mansion in Windsor only if they each receive their own permanent homes within the royal estate. One insider told RadarOnline the arrangement amounts to “royal ransom.”
“This is about leverage, plain and simple,” the source said. “Andrew and Sarah both know far too much about how the monarchy really works. They’ve promised not to write books or do tell-all interviews — but that silence comes at a price.”
Inside the Royal Housing Deal
After more than two decades at Royal Lodge — where Andrew reportedly paid almost nothing under a so-called “peppercorn lease” granted by the late Queen — the disgraced Duke of York is finally being forced to move out. The push comes as renewed Jeffrey Epstein connections have once again put him under public scrutiny.
The deal being discussed would reportedly see Andrew relocated to Frogmore Cottage, formerly Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s home, while Ferguson would take over Adelaide Cottage, once occupied by Prince William and Kate Middleton.
A palace insider said the King is willing to make the trade if it guarantees quiet: “They’ve both been around long enough to know the royal family’s deepest secrets — and that gives them real power. Charles just wants them off the estate and out of sight.”
A Truce Built on Silence
Under the rumored agreement, both Andrew and Fergie would keep their mouths shut — no memoirs, no tell-all interviews, no Netflix specials — in exchange for lifelong housing and financial security.
“They’ve struck an understanding, even if it’s never put in writing,” said a royal source. “Andrew and Sarah have promised discretion in exchange for dignity. The Palace knows better than to test their patience.”
The plan would give the couple separate homes within Windsor’s security zone but keep them close enough for visits from daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. Palace aides are reportedly working out how to fund renovations without dipping into taxpayer money.
“This is damage control at the highest level,” one insider added. “It’s not reconciliation — it’s hush money disguised as a housing deal. The King wants peace and quiet. But make no mistake — this is Andrew and Fergie’s last card to play, and they’re playing it perfectly.”
