Demi Moore may be one of Hollywood’s most eligible women, but insiders say the 62-year-old actress isn’t looking for love — she’s too busy reigniting her career and caring for her ailing ex-husband, Bruce Willis.
According to a source, the Ghost star has been politely rejecting date offers while focusing on what truly matters: her work and her family. “Demi has a bad habit of putting her entire life, her entire identity on hold when she gets into a new relationship,” the insider told RadarOnline.com. “Her relationship with Ashton hijacked her career, and she’s only really recovered from it professionally in the last year or so.”
Since her split from Ashton Kutcher in 2011, Moore has kept her romantic life low-key. She briefly dated restaurateur Harry Morton in 2013 and musician Sean Friday later that year, before a short-lived romance with celebrity chef Daniel Humm in 2022. But these days, she’s saying no to love and yes to scripts.
“She’s turning down interested men,” the insider added. “Offers to do movies are a lot more interesting to her than offers for romantic dinners or getaways.”
Moore’s renewed focus comes as she continues to support her ex-husband Bruce Willis, who is battling frontotemporal dementia. The former couple, who share daughters Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah, have remained close through his illness.
With hit projects like Substance marking a new chapter in her career, friends say Demi is embracing independence. “She’s finally in a place where she’s doing things on her own terms — not for a man, not for fame, just for herself.”
