Funnywoman Kathy Griffin is hitting refresh—literally. The 64-year-old comic has gone under the knife for what she calls her third facelift, and insiders say it’s all part of a glow-up mission to reclaim her confidence and spark a new chapter in her love life.
According to sources close to Griffin, the Emmy and Grammy winner took her post-divorce slump and turned it into motivation for a full-on transformation after her split from second husband Randy Bick.
“She was in a tough place for a while,” one insider dished. “But now she’s laser-focused on feeling good, looking great, and putting herself out there again. The facelift was a big confidence booster.”
Griffin, who was also married to Matt Moline from 2001 to 2006, hasn’t been shy about her latest procedure. In fact, she laughed about it on her Talk Your Head Off podcast, quipping, “Very taut is also very true! It’s my third. I’m so vain for no reason. No one goes to a Kathy Griffin show to see a beautiful, youthful face. You come to hear jokes!”
Looking Fresh in Malibu
Griffin was recently spotted in Malibu on August 12, looking noticeably more sculpted and smooth, with a freshly snatched jawline that had fans doing a double take.
Even the experts are giving her props. Beverly Hills cosmetic surgeon Dr. Robert Cohen praised her facelift for keeping things tasteful.
“She’s maintained her natural look while tightening the mid and lower face,” he said. “It also looks like she had a neck lift—it’s very well done. She may have added a bit of filler to shape her lips. Overall, she looks amazing.”
A Comeback in More Ways Than One
While Griffin is still dealing with the emotional aftermath of her split from Bick, sources say she’s not letting heartbreak hold her back.
“She’s still sad about how things ended, but she’s realistic. They weren’t a great match,” said one friend. “Now she’s ready to meet new people and maybe even find love again. It’s scary to open up, but she’s willing to try.”
And for Griffin, that journey starts with embracing both her sense of humor and her appearance. As Dr. Cohen put it, “She proves humor and beauty really are timeless.”
