Freddie Mercury’s Secret Daughter Speaks Out for First Time

Freddie Mercury’s alleged secret daughter has broken her silence after decades of avoiding the spotlight — revealing an emotional and deeply personal side to the Queen frontman that fans never saw.

According to a bombshell new book, a woman known only as “B” was born in 1976 after Mercury reportedly had a fling with a close friend’s wife. Raised by another family, she says she always knew the rock legend was her father and that he visited her regularly until his death in 1991 at just 45 years old.

B claims the truth was known only to Queen’s inner circle — including band members, Mercury’s family, and his longtime confidante Mary Austin. Now, ahead of the release of Love, Freddie next month, she’s sharing her story for the first time.

“I didn’t want to share my dad with the whole world,” she told MailOnline. “After his death, I had to live with the attacks against him, the misrepresentations, and the feeling that my dad now belonged to everyone. I cried and mourned my dad, while fans all over the world mourned Freddie. When you are 15 years old, it’s not easy.”

She says she had to grow up quickly, building her life and family without him over the past 30 years. But her decision to speak comes after learning Mary Austin had allegedly cast doubt on her existence.

The book claims she was conceived just a year after Queen’s breakthrough hit Bohemian Rhapsody. While Mercury was loved and embraced as a gay man later in life, he had previously been in relationships with women, most notably Austin, with whom he once lived.

In a handwritten letter, B described their bond: “Freddie Mercury was and is my father. We had a very close and loving relationship from the moment I was born and throughout the final 15 years of his life. He adored me and was devoted to me. The circumstances of my birth may seem unusual or outrageous, but it never detracted from his commitment to love and look after me. He cherished me like a treasured possession.”

B also says she’s taken a DNA test to prove her claim, telling skeptics on X, “Please rest assured that the requisite verification was obtained, legal teams have been involved, but such measures are private and not shared publicly.”
