A wild scene erupted midair Sunday when a man claiming to be affiliated with rapper Kodak Black unleashed an unhinged tirade aboard an American Airlines flight from Charlotte to Denver—yelling obscenities, threatening fellow passengers, and offering cash to sit in the cockpit.

The outburst, captured on video and now making the rounds on social media, shows the unnamed passenger going off the rails for over 12 minutes in what witnesses called “one of the most insane things we’ve ever seen on a plane.”

“You f–ked with the realest person on the East Coast!”

That’s how the man introduced himself—loudly and proudly—after accusing a flight attendant of mishandling his phone charger and ignoring his drink request.

“I said you had beautiful eyes,” he bellowed at the attendant, before snapping, “You really p—ed off your customer—shut the f–k up.”

According to fellow flyers, the man started unraveling shortly after boarding. “He was loud from the moment he sat down,” said Denise Hart, who was seated two rows behind the confrontation. “At first we thought he was joking, but it escalated fast.”

Foul-Mouthed Fury and Bizarre Demands

Witnesses say the man repeatedly shouted about working with Kodak Black, threatening to “light a blunt” mid-flight, challenging another passenger to a fight, and demanding a seat upgrade. At one point, he even pulled out cash.

“He offered a hundred bucks to sit in the cockpit,” Hart added. “Like… what?”

The man also called for a refund, then insisted he deserved a free shot of liquor. When neither was granted, the tantrum intensified.

Flight Crew Keeps Calm—Until It’s Time to Call Security

Despite repeated verbal abuse, flight attendants stayed professional, trying to de-escalate. But after the passenger began threatening to “f–k up” the police if they were called, the crew had enough.

The plane was met by law enforcement upon landing. The disruptive man was removed without further incident, though his final words—reportedly a loud rant about “not being respected”—were heard echoing through the jet bridge.

American Airlines Responds

American Airlines confirmed the incident in a statement Monday.

“We thank our crew for their professionalism and our customers for their patience during this disturbance. The individual was removed and appropriate authorities were notified,” the airline said.

No word yet on whether the passenger faces charges. Social media, meanwhile, is having a field day. One viral comment summed it up best: “If Kodak Black did send this guy, he’s never flying coach again.”

  1. Is it time to start doing mental health screenings for passengers prior to boarding planes? So many disruptions in the sky going on which are affecting passengers who just want to get where they are going. No diversions, No disruptions, No maniacal idiots who should have stayed behind.
