Tensions Explode in Disney World Gift Shop as Fight Breaks Out (Video)

The Happiest Place on Earth didn’t look so happy this week when a wild shouting match broke out inside a Disney World gift shop—and the internet can’t stop watching.

TikTok user @bbrookee20 posted the now-viral clip on July 9, cheekily captioning it, “You thought the Magic Kingdom fireworks were the main event tonight.” In just 8 seconds, the video captures a chaotic scene as two adults go head-to-head inside the World of Disney store at Disney Springs.

The man, wearing a black shirt and off-white baseball cap, can be heard yelling “Enough!” while being pulled away by other guests. The woman he’s yelling at snaps back with “Let go of me!” and swats her arm toward him as tensions flare.

A cast member behind the counter looks visibly shaken, raising her hands and watching helplessly as the scene unfolds just a few feet away.

Comments flooded in criticizing the lack of security and wondering how such a confrontation got so out of control in a place known for family fun.

This isn’t the first time tempers have exploded at a Disney park—and it likely won’t be the last.

Back in May, a disturbing incident at Shanghai Disneyland made headlines after a fight reportedly erupted over photo-bombing. A couple allegedly attacked a family of three after spotting them in the background of their photo booth pictures. Shockingly, the woman involved was caught on video appearing to push a toddler in the face. Bystanders and park security had to step in, and while no serious injuries were reported, the footage left viewers outraged.

In 2019, a jaw-dropping fight broke out near Toontown at Disneyland in Anaheim. The incident involved members of the same family and was caught on video, showing punches thrown and an elderly woman falling from her mobility scooter as children cried in the background. The delayed response by security drew major backlash, and those involved were later charged.

Then in July 2022, Fantasyland at Disney World turned into a fight zone after a family refused to move for a photo. The brawl led to multiple hospitalizations and permanent bans for those involved. One participant claimed they were told they’d be banned from Disney “forever” unless they contacted park leadership.

In 2021, a line-cutting dispute near Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Paris ended in pushing and yelling between two families. And in 2023, Disneyland California saw a stroller bump turn into a full-on fistfight right on Main Street, U.S.A., with security arriving just as punches flew.

These escalating incidents have left many questioning whether the magic of Disney can keep up with rising crowds and flaring tempers. As the parks continue to pack in summer tourists, guests may need to pack a little extra patience too.
