Rocker Declares Trump Voters are ‘Not Allowed’ at His Shows

The world of rock just got a lot louder—and more divided. Ronnie Winter, outspoken frontman for the alternative band The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, has sparked national outrage after delivering a scathing message to Trump supporters: Don’t even think about coming to my concerts—ever.

In a fiery Instagram video posted over the weekend, Winter drew a line in the sand that’s impossible to ignore. “If you voted for Donald Trump, do not come to my shows—forever,” Winter declared, staring directly into the camera. “Not just for these four years. I don’t want you there. Don’t come to my shows.”

But the rocker didn’t stop at politics—he took aim at Christian Trump supporters as well, calling their allegiance a “shame.” “If you’re Christian and you voted for Donald Trump, shame on you. You are not allowed to come to my shows,” he insisted. “You’re going to hear the actual words of Jesus if you show up, and you’re not about that.”

Winter’s dramatic decree comes amid a tidal wave of political activism from major music icons in the wake of President Trump’s return to the White House. Just weeks ago, classic rock legend Bruce Springsteen made headlines for refusing to answer questions about his long-running feud with Trump while signing autographs in New York. At a recent show, Springsteen didn’t mince words: “The America I love… is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent and treasonous administration.”

Winter, whose band exploded onto the scene in 2006 with their anti-abuse anthem “Face Down,” doubled down in the clip. “If you love ‘Face Down,’ it’s not for you. That’s not your song,” he told Trump supporters, making it clear that his music is now off-limits to a significant portion of his former fanbase. “Refunds are available. Forever—don’t come. Goodbye.”

The Instagram tirade didn’t just single out concertgoers. Winter took a victory lap over what he called “woke” predictions about the Trump era. “The thing about being woke is you’re awake, and once you’re awake you can never go to sleep,” he said. “Everything they said was going to happen… has happened. You’ve done nothing but prove us right.”

It’s a growing trend in the music world. Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello recently shouted, “F— that guy!” about Trump during a Boston festival. Neil Young, never shy about his anti-Trump stance, publicly fretted that the president might “detain” him on his next American tour. Meanwhile, country renegade Kid Rock has thrown punches right back, blasting Springsteen’s anti-Trump speeches as “a punk move.”

As for The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, the band’s last album dropped in 2018, but this latest controversy has thrown Winter back into the headlines. His blunt message: If you support Trump—or voted for him—you’re officially not welcome. “This is about acceptance, about harmony. That’s not what you’re about. Don’t come.”
