In a surprising twist to one of America’s most high-profile feuds, Errol Musk, father of billionaire Elon Musk, described his son’s very public conflict with President Donald Trump as a “grave mistake,” attributing the fallout to “immense stress” experienced by both influential men.

The dispute between Musk and Trump escalated dramatically after Musk openly criticized Trump’s landmark One Big Beautiful Bill Act.

The billionaire entrepreneur labeled the bill “outrageous,” “packed with pork,” and a “disgusting abomination.” However, the controversy exploded when Musk, in a provocative and evidence-free social media post, implied Trump’s involvement with the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The White House swiftly denied Musk’s inflammatory allegations.

Errol Musk addressed the feud directly while speaking in Moscow at Russia’s Future Forum 2050. The event, headlined by prominent ultranationalist Alexander Dugin—often called “Putin’s philosopher”—drew international attention.

Errol Musk told Russian daily Izvestia, “They’ve both been under incredible stress for five months. Give them a break. They’re exhausted, trying to restore normalcy and manage serious challenges. Something like this isn’t unusual under those circumstances.”

The elder Musk, who has maintained a notably lower profile than his controversial son, went further, confidently predicting an eventual reconciliation. “I firmly believe they will come together again. Elon respects strength, and President Trump has shown strength like few others,” Errol stated.

However, President Trump, speaking in an NBC News interview, appeared dismissive of the idea of reconciliation, warning Musk of “very serious consequences” should the tech mogul financially support Democrats moving forward.

“If Elon goes down that road, there will be consequences,” Trump declared firmly. “He’s been disrespectful to the office of the president. Quite frankly, I have no intention of speaking with him again.”

Trump doubled down in a Truth Social post, emphasizing the necessity of passing the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, a massive legislative proposal aimed at slashing expenses by $1.6 trillion. Trump also took credit for removing Musk’s electric vehicle mandates, suggesting Musk’s reaction was driven by personal resentment.

“Elon was wearing thin,” Trump wrote. “I took away his EV mandate that forced Americans to buy electric cars no one wanted. He knew this was coming and just went CRAZY!”

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt echoed Trump’s sentiments, calling Musk’s actions “unfortunate” and insisting Trump’s focus remains on passing his legislative agenda. “The president is focused on this historic legislation and making America great again,” she stated to Newsweek.

As the July 4 deadline approaches for the Senate to pass Trump’s landmark bill, the eyes of the nation remain on this extraordinary rift between two of the world’s most powerful figures. Whether Errol Musk’s hopeful prediction comes true or the feud deepens further, one thing remains certain: America is watching closely.

  2. ABSOLUTELY 💯 PERCENT TRUTH HIS FATHER ERROL IS SAYING….I AGREE WITH HIM ALSO

  3. Oh, no, no, no. Let Elon’s father rest easily. A feud with President Trump may be a political or business mistake, but that’s all. If Elon had had a feud with the Clinton’s, then THAT would have been a “grave” error. Trump’s enemies are all very much alive.
