Prince Harry has sparked fresh outrage across Britain after blowing through over $135,000 in taxpayer money on a failed legal campaign to get British police protection—despite stepping away from royal duties years ago.
And insiders say he knew it was hopeless from the start.
A Royal Disaster That Didn’t Need to Happen
The 40-year-old Duke of Sussex quietly flew in from California earlier this year for a two-day hearing in London. His legal team argued that stripping him of publicly funded Metropolitan Police protection put his life “at stake,” citing threats tied to his royal profile and military service.
