A striking new statue has appeared in the Oval Office—and it’s already turning heads. The bronze statuette depicts the chilling yet defiant moment President Donald Trump raised his bloodied fist and chanted “fight, fight, fight” after surviving an assassination attempt at a Pennsylvania rally in July 2024.
Photographs from inside the White House show the sculpture placed on a table near the Resolute Desk. The detailed work captures the split second after a bullet fired by would-be assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks grazed President Trump’s ear. Also depicted are three Secret Service agents, including Director Sean Curran, rushing to shield the president and lead him offstage. An American flag waves behind them.
The statue was designed by artist Stan Watts, who reportedly plans to construct a towering 9-foot bronze version of the moment, according to the Trump Statue Project’s website.
The now-iconic image of Trump’s raised fist has become a rallying cry for his supporters and a prominent symbol of his political resilience. It appears on shirts, hats, and posters available at Trumpstore.com—and now, it’s immortalized in the most powerful office in the nation.
But it’s not the only item in the White House making headlines. President Trump’s official mugshot, taken in August 2023 after his indictment in Georgia, has been spotted hanging near the entrance to the Oval Office. And a dramatic painting now displayed in the Grand Foyer has replaced the official portrait of former President Barack Obama.
That painting, based on an Associated Press photo captured by Doug Mills during the Butler rally, was transformed into a powerful work by artist Marc Lipp. It shows Trump moments after the shooting, his face bloodied, his fist raised high—a visual now etched into the story of his presidency.
Critics have called the Oval Office display provocative, while supporters hail it as a bold tribute to the president’s courage under fire.
