Don Lemon, once a prime-time face on CNN, is spiraling again—and this time, he’s dragging Megyn Kelly’s husband into the drama.

On a recent episode of his YouTube channel, Lemon bizarrely accused author Doug Brunt, Kelly’s husband of 15 years, of ogling his own husband, Tim Malone, during a public event. Yes, really.

“Tell your husband to stop looking at my husband across the room. It’s weird, okay?” Lemon ranted, clearly agitated. “Deal with your own house.”

The Real Story: A Manufactured Feud?

Lemon, 59, who married Malone in April 2024 after his controversial exit from CNN, appears to be escalating a personal vendetta that started years ago. His target: conservative firebrand Megyn Kelly.

Kelly, now a top voice on SiriusXM and a favorite among many right-leaning Americans, has been openly critical of left-wing media. And Lemon hasn’t forgotten.

But this latest attack—accusing her husband of giving “funny looks”—has insiders scratching their heads.

“It’s textbook clout-chasing,” said one media insider familiar with both Lemon and Kelly. “Don needs views. Tim wants exposure. Megyn and Doug see right through it.”

Sources Close to Kelly Fire Back

A source close to the couple gave a sharp response: “Don thinks everyone’s staring at his husband. Look, Tim’s a nice guy, but let’s be honest—it’s not like Don married Brad Pitt. Calm down.”

Another added: “They’re laughing it off. They won’t issue a statement, because that’s exactly what Don wants—attention.”

Doug Brunt, a former CEO turned novelist, has largely stayed out of the spotlight, unlike his bomb-throwing spouse. According to sources, that’s not changing anytime soon.

“Doug’s not engaging with this nonsense,” a friend of the couple told us. “They’re too busy raising kids and running a real show.”

The Feud Runs Deeper

This isn’t Lemon’s first swipe at Kelly. Just last month, after MSNBC’s Joy Reid was booted from the network, Kelly took to X with a blistering takedown.

“Remember when Joy Reid laughingly mocked ‘White women tears’ as pathetic and offensive to her?” Kelly posted. “Who’s crying now, Joy? Good riddance to the absolute worst person on television.”

Lemon responded not with facts—but with fury.

“Go f— yourself, Megyn Kelly,” he snapped on his show. “The worst person on television got fired from NBC, and that was you.”

Desperation or Damage Control?

Some insiders believe Lemon’s public meltdowns are part of a broader campaign to stay relevant.

“He’s not on CNN anymore,” said one former colleague. “His career’s been reduced to shock jabs on YouTube. That’s a long way down from prime time.”

Even Lemon’s fans are beginning to wonder if the former anchor’s tactics are helping or hurting.

“What does accusing someone’s husband of flirting accomplish?” one viewer commented. “It just makes Don look desperate.”

Final Word

Megyn Kelly and Doug Brunt aren’t playing along. They’ve built a brand rooted in free speech, traditional values, and zero tolerance for nonsense—and according to sources, this latest Lemon outburst isn’t moving the needle.

“He can yell into the void all he wants,” said one conservative strategist. “Megyn’s too busy winning.”
