Disgraced TV Star Dating ‘a Super Fan’ 40 Years Younger Than Him

Disgraced “7th Heaven” star Stephen Collins, now 77, has reemerged under controversial circumstances, according to a bombshell new documentary from Investigation Discovery.

Once heralded as a wholesome father figure on television, Collins is reportedly dating Jennifer Nagel, a woman nearly four decades younger than him—a shocking development given his past confession to multiple instances of child molestation.

“I’ve heard he’s living with a superfan who is 40 years younger,” Dr. Drew Pinsky commented in the documentary, Hollywood Demons. “Given Collins’ history, that definitely raises eyebrows. Let’s hope he is committed to this woman alone and doesn’t repeat past behavior.”

Collins’ scandal first exploded in 2014, when audio recordings from a 2012 marriage counseling session were leaked online. He was heard confessing to having sexual contact with a girl under fourteen and exposing himself to two other underage girls between 1973 and 1994.

Soon after, he offered a public admission, declaring, “Forty years ago, I did something terribly wrong that I deeply regret. I have been working to atone for it ever since.” Even so, many critics believe the actor and the industry that once embraced him dodged the full force of accountability.

It’s not the first time the 7th Heaven cast has addressed the controversy. When former co-stars Beverley Mitchell, David Gallagher, and Mackenzie Rosman launched their podcast, “Catching Up With the Camdens,” they said they had no inappropriate experiences with Collins but made it clear they “do not excuse or condone his behavior.”

Still, some observers say that while the cast’s statement was necessary, it does little to erase the fact that Collins is living a seemingly normal life, now involved with a much younger partner despite his disturbing past.

Hollywood insiders watching this story unfold insist that such scandals are often swept under the rug to protect well-known names. One anonymous former agent commented, “This isn’t the first time, and it won’t be the last. Celebrities get shielded from the kind of repercussions that would destroy average Americans.”
