In a chilling incident that raises concerns about escalating political tensions, a Florida man was arrested after allegedly making multiple 911 calls threatening to assassinate former President Donald Trump and destroy New York City with missiles.
A Disturbing Threat Against a President
Authorities in Palm Beach County arrested 34-year-old Justin Blaxton of Loxahatchee on February 27 after he allegedly made a series of menacing calls to emergency dispatchers the previous day. According to law enforcement reports, Blaxton declared his intention to “assassinate the President” and demanded a ride to the airport so he could “be taken to the White House.”
Blaxton also made bizarre claims about possessing missile capabilities, telling dispatchers, “I’m about to launch the missiles to destroy New York. My missiles are attracted to Donald Trump’s tower.” He further described himself as a “Confederate soldier” seeking “revenge.”
The Political Climate and Rising Extremism
The threats come amid a time of heightened security concerns surrounding prominent political figures, especially Trump, who remains one of the most influential conservative voices in America. Many Republicans argue that the continued vilification of Trump by mainstream media and left-leaning politicians has fueled hostility and, in some cases, violent rhetoric from individuals with unstable mental states.
Jason Russell, a former U.S. Secret Service agent with a decade of experience, commented on the situation, stating that such threats, while often made by individuals suffering from mental illness, are taken very seriously. “A good percentage of those who make threats have some level of mental illness or are experiencing some type of breakdown,” Russell noted.
Mental Health and Law Enforcement Response
Blaxton’s troubling behavior is not an isolated incident. Court documents reveal that he has an “extensive” history of mental health-related encounters with police. This raises broader questions about how law enforcement and the justice system handle individuals who repeatedly exhibit dangerous behavior. While some argue that mental health courts provide a necessary alternative to traditional criminal prosecution, others believe that leniency in such cases puts public safety at risk.
After the threats were made, deputies were dispatched to Blaxton’s residence but found that he had already fled. Authorities located and arrested him the following day. He now faces multiple felony charges, including making a threat to use a destructive device, making a false report of a bomb threat, and misusing the 911 emergency system. His bond was set at $35,000, and he is scheduled to appear in mental health court on April 16.
The Broader Implications
Blaxton’s case serves as a stark reminder of the volatile political environment in the U.S., where extremist rhetoric—whether from unstable individuals or the radical fringes of political discourse—can have real-world consequences. The ongoing attacks against conservative figures, particularly Trump, continue to provoke both admiration and hostility across the country.
With the 2024 election cycle in the rearview mirror and Trump still commanding the loyalty of millions of Americans, the question remains: How far will his detractors go, and what steps should be taken to ensure his safety and the security of other prominent conservative leaders?

I must say, Biden, the demokrap party, have done so much for our country. It’s their fault that this threat and this kind of people are out there. It makes me wonder if law enforcement officials, are going to hold responsible any politicians responsible for issues at hands. I mean if I was to make a threat towards a politician, any politician, I’ll be arrested, however, how many demokrap politicians have made threats against other politicians and nothing has been done about it. I guess politicians have immunity, and the regular citizen doesn’t. I guess Equal Protection Under the Law, doesn’t apply to the average citizen. What A Joke.!!!!!!
