Bill and Hillary Clinton could be facing another uncomfortable trip down memory lane as reports of a potential Monica Lewinsky tell-all threaten to revive one of the most explosive scandals in American political history.

Nearly three decades after her affair with the former president nearly derailed his presidency, Lewinsky, 53, is reportedly shopping a new book that could revisit the controversy that thrust her into the national spotlight.

According to an October 21 report from Page Six, the former White House intern is working through talent agency WME on a potential book project. A source close to Lewinsky confirmed the project but declined to reveal details, leaving questions about just how much she intends to disclose.

The rumored memoir could explore her relationship with Clinton, now 80, along with the years of public humiliation that followed and her eventual transformation into an anti-bullying advocate and podcast host.

The affair began in 1995, when Lewinsky was just 22 and Clinton was serving his first presidential term. Their relationship became public in 1998, triggering a political firestorm that led to Clinton’s impeachment by the House of Representatives. He was ultimately acquitted by the Senate in 1999.

The scandal also placed Hillary Clinton under intense public scrutiny as she stood by her husband amid revelations that threatened both his presidency and their marriage.

For years, Lewinsky struggled with the fallout. She has since spoken openly about the power imbalance in the relationship and the devastating personal consequences of becoming an international tabloid sensation.

During a July episode of her podcast, “Reclaiming with Monica Lewinsky,” she reflected on finally learning to accept the young woman she once was.

“A lot of my progress during my dark decade really came about from integration,” she explained, describing how she learned to confront her past rather than run from it.

Meanwhile, Bill Clinton revisited the controversy in his 2024 memoir, “Citizen,” acknowledging that he had never personally apologized to Lewinsky, although he maintained that he had apologized publicly.

The former president also faced renewed scrutiny earlier this year over his past association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. During congressional testimony in February, Clinton denied knowing about Epstein’s crimes and insisted he had done nothing wrong. Neither Bill nor Hillary has been accused of criminal wrongdoing in connection with Epstein.

Despite sensational reports suggesting the Clintons’ marriage is in trouble, there is no verified evidence that a divorce is imminent. In fact, Hillary publicly celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary on October 11, sharing a throwback photograph from their 1975 wedding.

Whether Lewinsky’s rumored book contains previously undisclosed revelations remains unclear. No publisher, release date or final contents have been publicly confirmed.

But if the project moves forward, it could return Bill Clinton’s most infamous presidential scandal to the spotlight — and once again raise difficult questions about an affair that has followed the Clintons for nearly 30 years.
