Savannah Guthrie is still living every family’s worst nightmare.
The Today show anchor shared another heartbreaking message as the search for her missing 84-year-old mother, Nancy Guthrie, drags into its fourth month with no answers, no arrests and mounting fear.
Nancy vanished on Feb. 1 from her home in Tucson, Arizona. Authorities believe she may have been abducted, and the case has grown more chilling as investigators continue searching for clues.
Savannah took to Instagram on Sunday with a quiet but gut-wrenching plea.
The TV host shared a religious image that read, “Oh my, my soul, it cries out, soul, it cries out.” Over the image, Savannah added just three words: “bring her home,” along with a yellow heart emoji.
It was a devastating reminder that, months after Nancy disappeared, her family is still waiting, hoping and praying.
According to People, Savannah previously shared the same image in March with the caption, “I believe, I believe.”
The Today star has used both social media and her national platform to beg the public for help. She has repeatedly urged anyone with information to contact the FBI as investigators continue trying to piece together what happened to her mother.
The Guthrie family is offering a reward of up to $1 million for information that leads to Nancy’s recovery.
Savannah broke down in an emotional Instagram video on Feb. 24, describing the agony her family has endured since Nancy vanished.
“Every hour and minute and second and every long night has been agony,” Savannah said at the time.
She said the family has spent those painful days “worrying about her, and fearing for her, and aching for her, and most of all just missing her.”
Savannah also thanked people for their prayers and made it clear the family has not given up hope.
“We know that so many people have been praying for her return, and we feel those prayers,” she said. “Please keep praying without ceasing. We still believe in a miracle. We still believe that she can come home.”
Nancy disappeared from her home in the Catalina Foothills area of Tucson on Feb. 1.
Her disappearance launched a major investigation led by the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, with help from the FBI, Customs and Border Protection and search-and-rescue teams.
The case took an even darker turn after investigators reportedly recovered security footage from Nancy’s home showing a masked person tampering with a camera before she vanished.
Authorities also discovered bloodstains at the scene, which were later confirmed to be Nancy’s.
In May, Page Six reported that investigators had been working with limited evidence for months and that no major new leads had emerged since the security footage was uncovered in February.
Those close to the family have reportedly grown frustrated by the lack of progress.
Still, Savannah continues to speak out, plead for answers and cling to hope that her mother will be found.
For now, one of morning TV’s most familiar faces remains a daughter in pain, begging for the miracle her family desperately needs.
